"I think that before the two of you leave for your vacation, we should like, have a family night or something. Meera bhabhi looked a little upset when she came back. So this will cheer her up." Everyone agreed to Aryan's plan. Swadheenta and Ayaan were all set to leave the next day and a family day sounded great.
Anjali and Pooja went up to call Meera. She was sitting on the terrace with her laptop. Even though it looked like she was working, a mother's heart always knows her child. Pooja went closer and ran her hand through Meera's hair. Like a trance was broken, Meera jerked a little and looked up.
Anjali saw the same pain and fear in her daughter's eyes she had seen the day her father died. Meera was feeling alone, like there was no one for her. Anjali didn't see that pain on the next day of her marriage. Her son had done something. She knew Advitya, he did something to make that fear vanish out of her eyes and he has done something again.
Her impassive son can be too blunt sometimes. These two kids of her never fought. She never had to give them advice on their marriage, they were always so good and perfect in their relationship. But well, nothing is perfect in this world.
"Maa, Chachi, did you need something? You should've called me." Pooja grabbed Meera's hand and pulled her up. "We want you to be happy Meera. Beta, marriage is not all roses and gardens, I don't know what has happened, but always communicate. Talk to him. Tell him what bothers you. Ofcourse if he has done something then don't give in that easily. But tell him how you feel. That is the first step towards a successful marriage." Meera smiled at her chachi's words and nodded.
"Now let's go. Everyone has planned a fun bonfire. Come on."
Everyone was settled around the bonfire that was arranged in the lawn. All the couples in the family were sitting together. The family was very open in terms of affection.
"Meera bhabhi, why are you sitting alone? Is that robot not back from office?" Ayaan got a cushion at his face from his badi maa. Meera shook her head with a little smile.
"Well then, kyuki kal Sunday hai and koi kal office nhi jayega and hamare pyaare Ayaan and Swadheenta bhabhi chutti pe jaa rahe h, to everyone let's have some fun." Aryan opens a bottle of scotch and bottle of wine, and circulates it among everyone. His dadi doesn't drink so she settled for some juice.
(Because it's Sunday tomorrow, nobody has to go to the office, and our lovely Ayaan and Swadheenta are going on a vacation)
The night progressed further with the family chatting. Their childhood was the main topic as everyone laughed at the stories the elder told about the twins and their antics. Everyone was fairly drunk and laughed away at any and everything.
Such nights should be organized more often. And Advitya should be forced to sit through them.
With that thought everyone retired to their rooms.

As the morning sun seeped through the window, Swadheenta was sitting on the bed. She was ready to leave but her husband was quite hungover.
"Who told you to drink that much? You look like a bloody zombie." Ayaan groaned and made a gesture with his hand for Swadheenta to lower her volume. His ears are sensitive right now. Both were ready in comfortable traveling clothes and Ayaan had dark shades covering his eyes as the sun glared at him.
It's too fucking bright for no apparent reason.
Aryan was no better. He had shades covering his eyes too. "Both of you are idiots. We warned you. Now don't act like we are screaming at you this is literally how we usually talk." Ruhanika gave both of them a pain killer each and they gulped it down like it was candy.
Anything to get rid of this stupid headache.
Aryan and Ruhanika saw the two off as they left for the airport. "Let's go back to sleep Ruhi, it's too early for this shit." Aryan dragged his wife back to bed and they fell asleep for the next few hours.
The next time they woke up, it was lunch time. They both took a shower feeling alot better now, Aryan was eager to fill his stomach that is begging for food.
The dining table did not have many people but that was kind of normal.
"I was actually thinking the two of you should also go out for a trip. You two haven't even been on a honeymoon. It's only been three months to your wedding, have fun." The couple actually agreed as they have thought about it as well.
They decided that they should leave as well. Both got their visa approved a month ago and haven't had the time to go yet.
Well, packing time it is.
On the other hand as Swadheenta and Ayaan reach the airport, Ayaan feels much better. They both settle down in their private jet and Swadheenta starts her questioning again.
"Are you ever going to tell me where we are going? Or is going to end with me throwing you off this jet and marrying the nice pilot."
"First of all, he is like 50 years old and secondly, it's called a surprise for a reason Swara, you'll know when we reach there so go to sleep or whatever because I am going to, so if you wish to join me then please come inside alright?" With that he went to the bed on the plane that looked too inviting. With nothing else to do, Swadheenta joined her husband to a good sleep.

Meera woke up to an empty bed, however the fact that she was on a bed let her know that Advitya did infact come home as she remembers she passed out on the couch.
She saw the painkillers on her nightstand and took one for her headache. She got up for a shower. She knew she needed it. She had a long relaxing shower while she thought how she needs to talk to Advitya. Her chachi's advice made her think again.
She did need to communicate with him. And that too honestly. This was the first time they had a fight in their marriage of two years and that is normal. Meera got out of the shower and dressed in a printed yellow short dress with a cardigan on top with sneakers.
She came out to see the room still empty and went towards the library. She wasn't hungry and reading just made her feel better. After about two hours in the library, she heard the door being opened. It shut behind whoever entered and then the lock was clicked in place.
Meera didn't have turn around, she just knew who entered. She felt him way before she sees or hears him. She kept the book she was reading away and looked up at her husband.
Advitya wanted to apologize. It was wrong of him to get angry at her when she did nothing wrong. If anything her presence always reminds him of the warm mornings. But before he could even utter a word, Meera said everything she wanted to in one breath.
"I am sorry. I know I shouldn't have just showed up at your office like that. It was wrong of me. I forgot my place. Just because you take care of me and are fulfilling a promise you made my father does not give me any right. I shouldn't have crossed a boundary. God I already have crossed so many of them but I am really very sorry. I took advantage of your pity and sympathy, it was just wrong of me."
Advitya was shocked would be an understatement. Where the hell did all this come from? Did he fuck up that bad? He bent down on his knees to match their height level as she was sitting on the sofa.
Well here it goes.
