It's weird how when you enjoy life too much it makes you pay for it. All was good, a couple on vacation, another one on honeymoon and the third one on a date. It was all going great. Until the very next moment when it wasn't.

Ayaan and Swadheenta landed in delhi way before Aryan and Ruhanika. They had their own jet and it didn't take them that much of time. Even though they were scared and were panicking, they waited for the other two. Aryan and Ruhanika came around an hour later. All four of them sat in the car that Daniel drove to the hospital.

There they saw their family. Scared, broken, hurt and empty. These were the few emotions they could see on their faces. Aryan and Ayaan had tears in their eyes as they saw their mother, their dadi and badi maa crying like there is no tomorrow.

Their father and grandfather were standing and filling some forms that were probably needed and their bade papa was sitting on a bench quietly looking concerned. He couldn't see his daughter this hurt again.

The twins arms hurt as their wives were clutching it tightly. They were hurt looking at their Meera bhabhi. She just sat there with a blank expression. The family knew this look very well. She looked exactly same as the day she lost her father. Like she lost her family. And why wouldn't she feel that way? She was losing her family again.

Her husband has been in the operation room for the last seven hours. No news of how he is, if he will be okay. Nothing. All she knew, all they knew was that Advitya was shot. By who? They don't know. Just that he has lost alot of blood and the two bullets hit very close to his heart.

What can she do to go back in time and stop him from going to that stupid office? To have him back with her, in her arms. She didn't want to let him go earlier and she shouldn't have. She knows if she insisted, he wouldn't have gone, then why didn't she? She didn't like to demand stuff from him. But maybe if she did this wouldn't have happened.

She misses him. It's only been eight hours but the thought of never looking into his Grey eyes, or being in his arms, or never getting to listen to his heartbeat again scared her.

He was right. I am obsessed with his heart.

The one that she misses. She loves how he always looks at her when she isn't paying attention. She didn't know this at first but she caught him doing this many times. She loves when he gives her a side glance whenever she said something funny, he wouldn't laugh but that glance meant he found it funny. She loves how he only eats the food she makes. She loves how even though she rambles alot, he listens to every word that comes out of her mouth. She loves how every time she falls asleep in the library while reading, he picks her up and lays her down on their bed no matter how exhausted he himself is. She loves how he always lets her do her thing and never interferes. She loves how he makes her feel safe, and comfortable and at home.

He is my home. The one thing I craved for all my life. That's him. And I don't want to lose him.

Advitya was a father Ayaan and Aryan craved for as kids. All the elder men in the family were busy in business. Even if they wanted to spend time with their kids, they couldn't. Advitya being a few years elder understood it way earlier. He did not expect anything from his father. But he knew his brothers did.

They came to him when they had a fight in school or if someone said anything to them. They came to him when they got good grades. They came to him when they wanted to play. They came to him in the middle of the night because they were scared in their room. Even as they grew up a little, they came to him to tell him about their new crushes in school. He taught them how to ride a bicycle and how to shave your beard without cutting yourself, he even read them stories when they were kids. He was everything to them.

He understood when Ayaan was worried about taking over the company. He taught him how to tactically deal with clients. He understood his anxiety and always calmed him down.

He supported Aryan when he was struggling with studies and helped him. He supported him when he wanted to be a singer and not a businessman. He fought with the whole family, because he didn't want his brother to compromise, that too on his dream.

He took care of them, listened to them, protected them and fought for them. He did everything a father does for his own children. It's true when they say an elder brother is like a father. Because Advitya was exactly that to Ayaan and Aryan. He raised them. And now he is fighting for himself. For his own life.

Both their eyes are blurry. The tears are flowing down and new ones surface immediately after. They didn't try to wipe them.

It's okay to cry when you're hurt. And men hurt too. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

That's what their brother told them when they were kids and were bullied in school for crying. He was right. He always is. He should just wake up and come out now.

The surgeon finally came out the door and everyone rushed to him. After almost nine hours of surgery, they might get a glimpse of how he is.

"Mr. Rajvansh was shot in the chest. One bullet was comparatively easy to remove as it hadn't affected any part of the heart or arteries. The other one however, it was a deep shot and took hours to remove. It damaged a part of the main artery, his blood flow was affected. Also, the fact that he lost so much blood doesn't help. What I am saying is that bullets are out but he is in a critical situation. Another surgeon will replace me now, to try and mend the artery and start the flow again naturally. As we are relying on machines right now. They would update you further. Now if you'll excuse me." With that the surgeon left and took alot of hope with him. He indirectly told them that if the artery isn't mended then they would lose him.

The police was working nonstop. Advitya Rajvansh was a big name. Him being shot is a big deal. But they couldn't find anything. The place where he was shot had no cameras or anything. They just had one clue. The last phone call on his phone, that was still being traced.

They reached the hospital to talk to his family. The atmosphere hasn't changed much. Everyone is tensed and the police isn't going to help them much.

"We are sorry to inform you Mr. Rajvansh, but we haven't been able to find any clue in this case. There are no footages or eye witnesses. The road was empty and there are no prints. We're still trying to find things but we haven't figured anything out yet." The head officer informed Raj, however, the whole family had no hope anymore.

Advitya is not getting any better, now they cannot even find the person who did this. Why is it so difficult for them. Everything was going great and now, ever second is hell.

No matter how things change, Meera is still waiting for him. He has to be okay. He can't leave her. They did not have the seven pheras or anything from a typical Indian wedding but still, he atleast owed her one life. He is going to be in operation for a long time again but before that the doctor has allowed one of them to meet him.

And she thought it would be Anjali ma, or someone else, she wanted it to be her. He is unconscious and he won't see or hear her but she wanted to see him.

Her husband.

Her home.

"Meera beta" She turned to look at her grandfather who patted her head, trying to give her blessings and comfort.

"Go. Meet him."
