"Mom!" I yelled jogging down the steps. Where is this woman at?

"Mom!!" I yelled again

"In the office." She yelled back. I rounded the corner and opened the large glass doors of her office. She sat at her desk which was covered in papers. I give her a quick hug and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Look at you looking all pretty and what not. This all you girl?" I asked running my fingers through her curly hair.

"What do you want Alexis?" Damn she's good

"Can I go over Skais house to do our project?" I asked batting my eyelashes

"I have a meeting soon go ask Beyoncé to take you." Well this is going to be awkward. I gave my mom a fake smile before going outside to talk to Beyoncé.

"Josiah come back here boy." Beyoncé and Josiah were outside playing a game of tag. Of course Beyoncé wasn't running fast enough to catch Juju's chunky little legs.

"Issy!" Josiah noticed me and waddled over to me to pick him up.

"Bey can I ask something?" I asked giving Josiah my phone to play with.

"Wassup." She asked leaning against the house.

"Can you please take me to skai's house so I can work on a project?" I asked playing with my fingers.  I'm not intimidated by Beyoncé but whenever I talk to her I get..... antsy.

"Did you ask your mom?" Ugh why does that matter.

"Yea she told me to ask you since she had a meeting." Girl it's a yes or no.

"Yea I'll take you. Come on juju." Beyoncé held out her hand for Josiah to grab and handed me my phone back. We got in the the car and took the short drive to Skai's house. Once we got there Bey pulled into the driveway and put the car in park.

"Alright here's some money in case y'all get food or something." Beyoncé said giving me two fifty dollar bills. I see my mom is paying her well. She turned off the car, grabbed Josiah from the backseat and started walking with me to the door.

" I can do it by myself." I offered

"I have to introduce myself to her parents." She spoke fixing Josiah on her hip. I walked up the driveway and knocked on the door with Beyoncé hot on my trail. We waited at the door and was greeted by Skai and her mother I assume but she could definitely pass for her sister by her youthful features.

"Hey girl come in." I quickly entered the house to avoid any awkward conversation.

"Hi! I'm Alexis's stepmom Beyonce." Stepmom?! This is news to me. Your my mom's girlfriend.

"Nice to meet you I'm Tamara. Would you like to come in?" No ma'am that's not necessary.

"Oh no thank you. It's almost his nap time. Another time." Thank god for juju

"Ok well it was nice meeting you." Mrs. Jackson smiled

"Likewise and here's my number if you need it." Once Bey left I followed Skai upstairs to her bedroom

"Is that your mom? Sh-" I cut Skai off right there.

"She's my moms girlfriend." That's it that's all.

"She's fine as fuck."Are we talking about the same woman?!

"Ewww can we just start this project." I asked closing her bedroom door behind me.
