💕🌈 DOUBLE UPDATE!

"Where are you?" Rian asked Nana on the other line.

"We're almost there. Sorry, Yan. This heavy traffic is making me insane. Urg!" Nana complained.

Rian could hear his friend's frustration. "It's okay."

"Go up already. Don't wait outside, it's cold and breezy."

He laughed. "Yes, mom."

With a sigh, Rian entered the luxurious Cassadee Tower.

It was a forty-five story commercial building at the heart of the city. Quito-Ang's pride. He's having dinner on the fortieth floor, for the very first time, with Nana and Max. He remembered Nana and him gushing over the thought of dining there when they were still city newbies. It's finally happening and Rian was over the moon.

And since it was a fancy and elegant place, Rian wore a peach button-down shirt with sleeves folded up to his elbows, dark pants, and loafers. He combed his hair up to look more presentable, a hairstyle he didn't normally wear in the office. And based on how the receptionist was looking at him with shimmering eyes upon his arrival, he reckoned he did a great job choosing his wardrobe that night.

"Good evening, Sir. Do you have a reservation?" the receptionist asked a little too sweetly, staring at him like he's a celebrity or something. The girl beside her had a similar reaction, making Rian blush.

He's really not a fan of people giving him too much attention.

"Yes." He could only timidly answer.

***

Irving couldn't believe his eyes.

For the nth time since knowing the younger man, he's once again mesmerized- almost captivated by Rian as he suddenly graced the dull room with his powerful presence and was ushered to a nearby table near the window. Irving couldn't take his eyes off of him anymore. Hell, he could hardly even blink at all! Rian was outstandingly appealing without him even knowing it, and that made him even more attractive than he already was. It felt as if he's seeing Rian for the very first time and damn! Irving's heartbeat raced. With that button down shirt and combed up hair, Rian just looked so fucking good-looking.

Fuck.

He watched as Rian sat down and smiled at the lady attendant who seemed to have also gotten enchanted by Rian's mere existence. She left right away but she still clearly looked smitten judging by her constant glances and excited giggles.

Irving rolled his eyes in annoyance.

He looked around. Rian was noticeably all alone when he arrived. Who was he waiting for? Who was he eating with?

Irving was fidgety on his seat but he managed to go on talking with his acquaintances. But time and time again, his eyes would eventually end up at Rian's direction. He's patiently waiting to see who the younger man was having dinner with. He couldn't help it. He also couldn't help but feel disappointed.

After a few more minutes, familiar faces entered the room following the same usherette.

Irving could swear his heart leapt with joy when he realized Rian was dining with Nana and her boyfriend, not with somebody else.

Like what?

Did he just feel relieved or something?
