Mason's POV:
"This one is stunning Mason, here look." Sophia walked us over to another stand where more engagement rings stood. She points out a simple yet beautiful ring. A cushion stone, white little diamonds embedded around the ring. "This one screams her. She talked about something simple yet delicate and beautiful. This one mason, this is the one!" Sophia praised.

"Can we see this one?" I asked the employee, and he nodded taking it out. Even without the light, it sparkled, I tilted it to the side and saw more detailing. I pictured the ring wrapped around her, definitely this one.

"So I'm taking it as a yes?" the jeweler asked, I nodded, "It's perfect." He clapped his hands, taking the ring to adjust it. "Thank you so much for coming with me. Honestly, I didn't know what to buy, and knowing she probably talked about a future ring, you came up in mind," she chuckled agreeing with me.

"You made an excellent pick mason, she's going to love it. Have you planned how you're going to ask her?" she leaned on the stand looking at me curiously. "I've been thinking about it, I know the time is right but I want it to be somewhere special. First I have to ask her parents, get their blessing," I pointed out.

"Keeping it traditional, couldn't even be said better. She told me about the promise ring in Colombia... That she didn't mind if you proposed right then and there." I hummed my full attention to her words. "She truly is happier now that you're back in her life..."

"She was in a bad place a year ago, but that seems to be history. She smiles more, is more talkative, and is more radiant. All those bad memories aren't present, she's all put back together thanks to you," Sophia whispered.

"I must be doing my job correctly then... kidding. A year ago I wouldn't imagine being here, honestly. I thought I lost her, forever... But when I saw her at that cookout I knew it was faith. Now we're here, buying an engagement ring." I reveal my feelings. She gets up and hugs me.

We pull away as the jeweler comes back with a black velvet box, revealing the ring. "I couldn't be more thankful for your help. Have a nice day!" I grab the bag and walk out. "I have plans with your fiance, I'll see you in Madrid. Be safe!" she said walking off.

I get into my car and quickly pulled up the GPS to her parent's house in Brighton. A long drive but it's for a great reason. I threw my phone on Do Not Disturb before driving off. As the sky gets cloudy and grey, I can't help but think of Ella as I pass by the London eye and old buildings.

The London eye brings back memories of when I first asked her to be my girlfriend, the antique old buildings of her passion for architecture. I smile to myself as I pick up her phone call, realizing she's the one I have who can contact me.

"Hi Amor!" her voice was cheery and loud. "Hi Ella, where are you headed?" I act oblivious and unaware of her plans with Sophia. "Well right now we have dinner plans with Soph at a Colombian restaurant in the city, hope you don't mind I didn't take you" she teases.

"Hmm kinda upset but it's nothing I can't get over with, although I'm quite upset," I say back. Her voice now filled with concern and worry, "What happened? Is everything okay?"

"Everything is fine love, but I didn't get any pictures of your outfit," I can practically already imagine her rolling her eyes at my comment, "Really Mason?" I chuckle at her tone, grabbing the phone to see other notifications while I come to a red light.

"What? You usually do it," I mentioned.

"I'll send one of us after, Luka is with me," through the line I hear a 'Dada" making me smile harder than before. "Where are you headed?" Shit. Uh, how do I explain this to her... I have to lie, I can't reveal my actual location...
