The Detective's Sidekick (A Hololive Fanfiction) Book 2

Prologue

Through the halls of an unknown place, a woman with dark blue hair walks at a rapid pace. Her blue eyes seems bright but yet dull. She doesn't seem to be in a good mood. Once she reached a set of doors, she opened them to see four others within the meeting room. 

???: "Great to see that you finally joined us Kronii."

The one with red hair said. Her short stature and her rat-like ears on top of her head seem to blend in well. However her punk-like attire could be seen as a delinquent's attire.

Kronii: "Chaos. Is there a reason to call us here right now?"

Hakos Baelz is her name, but she is known as the avatar of Chaos. 

Baelz: "Well yes I sure did. I needed everyone's attention to draw out an undeniable factor that has occurred recently through these recent months."

Kronii looked sternly at her, as if she knew what she was talking about.

???: "Is this about the Myths?"

The one with green hair asks. Her green hair was similar to a bright green, but certain layers seem to be similar to the colour of grass. Her yellow eyes looks calming, so was her voice. This one is Ceres Fauna. She is known as the avatar of Nature.

Baelz: "Correct. They have been together for too long, yet something is holding them together. It isn't natural is it?"

Fauna: "That I cannot say."

Kronii: "Them being together is causing too much trouble for the balance. That detective has been holding onto that watch for far too long."

Kronii seemed cold about it, since she couldn't trust the pocket watch in anyone's hands in the first place. After all, she is known as the avatar of Time, Ouro Kronii.

???: "But isn't it part of the improvement of Civilizations?"

The one with brown hair says. Her eyes are a very light brown and she seems confused. The feathers on her head is similar to that of an owl. She is Nanashi Mumei, the avatar of Civilization.

Kronii: "Mumei, the watch has been in that detective's hands for too long. It has already caused a few imbalances."

???: "Wouldn't it be interesting to pay them a visit?"

The one with blonde hair says. Her skin is more tanned compared to the rest and she seems to be the most curious out of the lot. She is Tsukumo Sana, the avatar of Space.

Baelz: "Bad idea Sana. Think about it, if we interfere and try to integrate with the mortals, who knows that imbalance it could hold?"

Kronii thinks to herself that if she goes to Earth and goes after the detective alone, she could get it and return as if nothing has happened.

Kronii: "I will go."

Everyone was surprised on what she said.

Baelz: "No! You are going to cause-"

Kronii: "If I succeed in getting the watch, I will be able to restore the balance. No one will be able to touch it. I can be in and out without there being any consequence."

Everyone looked at each other and they agreed. 

Baelz: "Alright. But do not mess this up yeah?"

Kronii nods and walks out of the room. Mumei looked nervous and the first thought that comes to mind is that she hopes that this doesn't cause anything to go wrong with her side of the job.
