It has been a few weeks since saving Ina from the Ancient Ones. Ina managed to bring Calli and Kiara back along with assisting in the cover up of the Ancient's massacre. However today was the day of the HoloFestival, a momentous occasion where before New Years Day, they celebrate in their own special way, the Hololive way. The civilians were allowed to participate and many things alike. But William was still trying to take in everything he had experienced, even if he was asked by the Myths to go with them to the festival, he declined. He wanted to be mainly by himself and watch people enjoy themselves, it somehow would give him a sense of comfort.
He let them go to it by themselves, mainly because he probably didn't want to go in the first place. It was dead of night and the festival was continuing as intended by the company and bad things didn't happen, so he was in a park by himself, sitting on a bench, mostly having a conversation with Asher. Though he could see Asher standing in front of him with his hands in his pockets.
Asher: "You know that you should have joined them right? You could have had some time to unwind.."
William: "When did you get soft Asher...? I honestly pictured you to be so cruel, but now you turned a full 180 degrees?"
Asher: "As much as I hate that you point things out, but you are not wrong.. However you still need to unwind since things can never go your way when you think it would."
William: "That I am aware of.. I just don't want much to do with the girls right now... Calli and Kiara are getting along fine. Amelia and Gura are doing their best to help Ina recover and it seemed to be working. Together they are like a family supporting each other in their endeavours. And I told Amelia last week that I would be quitting the agency since Amelia has more things on her plate and it would be best that I stay out of it."
Asher: "You are quite distant and cold aren't ya?"
William: "I do it to protect those I care about.."
Asher: "I get what you are saying, but that will only harm you even further than what was already done..."
William: "After saving Ina... It made me realize something... The reason they went after me was because I was attached to them... If I wasn't, none of this would have ever happened... Berlin would have been in a better state, the world would not have been aware of the supernatural... I, one individual, changed the course of history and I know that..."
Asher: "It was only a matter of time before everyone else figured it out. Mortals tend to stick their noses in other messes, so they have a high probability of uncovering what was wrapped up. As you already saw, most of the news have been covering the Berlin incident."
William: "Yeah..."
???: "Excuse me, are you perhaps William Bismarck?"
He turned his head to see who was asking him the question. He then saw Yagoo, the CEO of Hololive.
William: "Indeed I am, who is asking?"
Motoaki: "I am Motoaki Tanigo, but I am referred to as Yagoo where I work and run my company."
William was a little surprised to meet Yagoo at a time and place like this.
William: "Tanigo sir, are you sure that you shouldn't be at the festival?"
Motoaki: "On the contrary, the girls planned this, not me."
He then had a seat next to William. He was of course suspicious on why Yagoo would meet him in the dead of night, in the middle of a park where anybody could just wonder here and listen in.
