Lan Zhan POV

It's been a couple of weeks since he left. I miss him so much. I shouldn't have agreed to this stupid plan. He left because of this. I know it.

Now your probably wondering what plan. The whole marriage thing was a plan made by everyone in hopes of Wei Ying finally confessing and retuning my feelings since I confessed a while ago but he said he didn't know what love was and needed time. I told him I would wait but these guys convinced me to do this, I should've known better. But clearly he doesn't have feelings towards me otherwise he would've said something. Maybe he doesn't love me like that. The girl who I fake married is a lesbian and is in a relationship. We went to school together so that's how we know her. All of this was an act. The marriage was fake, everything was. I'm such an idiot. I shouldn't have agreed.

*ting*

NHS: Hey guys I'm finally back so let's meet at our usual place and catch up. I can finally tell you how the island was, living without internet was so horrible! I wonder how people did this in the olden days! I was so bored! I'm never going back to there again!

Everyone: okay!

NHS: Let's meet at 6 and has anyone heard from Wei-gege he hasn't replied to my messages?

Brother: we'll explain everything once we meet.

NHS: okay!

I put my phone down and got dressed to meet up at our usual place. When I reached there everyone was already there expect Wei Ying. His place next to me was empty. He's on the group chat but he rarely talks. I don't even know if he even sees the messages.

We explained everything to NHS and when we were done we were shocked to see his expression. He was annoyed, angry and disappointed. "WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? THIS ISN'T A MOVIE! THIS IS REAL LIFE. Did you really think he would say 'I object because I love him he's mine,' none of that shit actually happens! I thought you guys were smart or at least had some common sense!" He shouted and this was the first time he had outburst. To say we were shocked would be an understatement. Normally he's shy and timid and especially in front of his brother but now he turned into the complete opposite.

"Calm down bro. At least now we know he doesn't like him" Xue Yang said while sipping his coffee. NHS grabbed his cold coffee and threw it at him,

"HE WAS GOING TO CONFESS THAT DAY IDIOT! He told me before I left he was going to tell you how he feels. You idiot you broke his heart. You made him think your married. No wonder he isn't answering any of our calls." When he said that I noticed that Wei Ying was on the tv behind him walking down a runway

"Wei Ying" I whispered. Everyone was confused as I pointed at the tv, he was now doing an interview talking about a drama and some new songs.

"Erm excuse me who's that guy and what's the drama called?" My brother asked with his usual soft smile

"You don't know him? He's Wei Wuxian! He's a model and he's in this new drama called The Untamed. A few episodes have already came out. He's also a singer and so handsome. What I wouldn't give to just be in the same room with him." She said dreamingly unaware of a pair of eyes glaring holes in her skull. "He's got such an amazing voice. I'm surprised you haven't heard of him. His posters are literally everywhere and his drama and songs are trending. Especially 'Me and My Broken Heart'. If I ever saw the person who hurt him I swear I will make him regret it" the woman said threateningly and we all gulped.

"Do you mind putting it on?" My brother asked again

"Of course not! It's my favourite song" she said sweetly. How is she changing her moods so fast?

She put on the song and we saw Wei Wuxian in the middle of a dark room. He started off by playing the piano. In the background the night view was beautiful but inside the room just behind him was a storm and it was raining. The song started:

"I love this song so much. How could anyone ever hurt him just look at him! He's so handsome, talented and just amazing! You know there's a rumour saying he's dating his costar." The woman said and my hands were balled into fists

"But isn't his costar a guy. Wouldn't people slander him or something?" Jiang Cheng asked

"Come on it's the 21st century no one cares anymore. They look so cute together and so what if he's bisexual, his life." She said with stars in her eyes. She was about to talk more when all of a sudden Wen Qing came in,

"Get back to work and stop gossiping! Is that what you do when I'm not here!" She shouted and that woman quickly went back to work. She tuned to face us, "you know when I came back I was hoping to be the one who surprises you guys but seems like I'm the one getting surprised. Wei Ying is famous and apparently got his heart broken! It was probably one of your stupid plans wasn't it?!" She was seething mad and it's not a surprise since she loves Wei Ying like her little brother. Everyone was silent and we looked down. She sighed and said, "in a few months he invited me over to his new house for a house welcoming. He's probably going to mention it later on and there you will tell him the truth and hope he forgives you guys."

"We will and we will do anything to get his forgiveness" Brother said and she nodded.

She was about to leave then turned back around, "I'm very disappointed in you guys and don't expect Wei Ying to forgive you guys that quickly. You guys betrayed his trust." she stated then left to go to the back to check on her cafe. I will do anything to earn your forgiveness, I'm sorry Wei Ying.
