City J No POV

It has been almost a week since Wade moved out of Bang's Dojo. Bang was okay with this as long as he returned to keep training even if Wade was a Black Belt in the Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock.

Wade rented an apartment with discount that had enough space for him, Diana and Whis who arrived and used his staff to give Wade furniture and even decorate the place. It was really nice.

Whis could actually babysit Diana since he loves to take care of children. So Wade got a roommate and a babysitter for Diana.

Right now, Wade was training with Whis inside his staff which, to put it shortly, has a different time pattern. One year inside the staff is just one day in the real world. Whis being basically a deity is able to teach Wade inside the staff and take care of Diana in the real world.

Wade was actually trying to hit Whis but all he did was dodge.

Wade: so a day out there is a year here?

Whis: that is correct.

Wade: that's a good way to get ahead in training and everything you are trying to teach me.

Whis: that's true. Before I teach you any advanced stuff, we must first unlock your potential. So far you are tapping into it kind of like knocking on a door.

Wade: I get it.

Whis: seems training with your other Master, Bang, is also helping you getting closer and closer to unlocking your potential.

Wade: so is there any food, shower, and sleep in this place?

Whis: there is for your human needs and don't worry, you're not missing any hero duties of yours.

Wade: oh good. It will take some time to get used to that.

Whis: I know that. Unlocking your potential is just the first step, then we must activate the power nodes inside of you.

Wade: and those are?

Whis: think of them as four barriers that block your way to unlocking your full potential. Each one is opened after a near death battle, but it has to be a true fight where you give it your all and not a one sided fight or let yourself be used a punching bag.

Wade: so those will be rare.

Whis: it might but your profession as a Hero could make those battles come to you.

Wade: hmm. Have you thought anyone else before me?

Whis: a few but they weren't at the level that you are.

Wade: so I might face others like me?

Whis: maybe.

Wade threw one more punch and stopped at he was tired.

Whis: that's enough physical training for now, time for meditation and after that lunch.

Wade: alright.

Wade sat on the air lotus position and closed his eyes as his red aura engulfed him. It was the same cycle, wake, eat, train, meditate, lunch, train, meditate, shower, dinner, sleep, repeat. Whis made sure that every section was perfectly in pace that required Wade to have equal time on training and meditation to be effective. Whis basically did a lot of big brain math.

The next day

Wade was out on patrol as he saw Saitama and he landed on the building above to watch, he looked like he was in panic mode.

Saitama:<thought> it's quiet out here today, too, there's nothing to do! Nothing! I'm gonna lose my registration.

Saitama catches a Kunai between his fingers as he and Wade saw Sonic but in more civilian attire.
