City Z No POV
It was just a normal day until scientists and astronomers detected a giant meteor heading down to City Z. They called the Hero Association and they called the S-Class heroes.
Genos:<on the phone> should I go right now, then? Understood.<hangs up> Master, for some reason, the Hero Association wants me to come in. I will be back later.
Saitama: okay. Maybe you're getting fired. <laughs>
Genos walks to the City Z branch of the Hero Association without noticing the shining light in the sky that was the meteor.
City J
Wade just finished cooking for Diana and Whis when his phone rung.
Wade:<answers> hello?
Diana reached for some milk as Whis picked her up and gave her, her baby bottle to drink milk.
Wade: is it urgent? City Z? Alright. <hangs up> I'll be back later.
Whis: something wrong?
Wade:<changes his clothes to his hero uniform> there's an emergency at City Z. All S-Class Heroes have been called. You know the drill?
Whis: take care of her while you're gone.
Wade: thanks. <pets Diana's ears before going outside and flying off>
Whis:<walks to the balcony and looks up> what are you planning?
City Z
Genos arrived at the City Z branch with a briefcase at hand as the only one there was Bang.
Bang: ah, you must be Genos. It's very nice to make your acquaintance. I'm Bang.
Genos:<though> Class S, Rank 3, aka SilverFang. He possesses true skill. <voice> the Association called me in.
Bang: everyone else is over at Headquarters. This branch office is empty now. Every Class S Hero got the call to come here, but you-
Wade:<walks through the door> what's the situation?
Bang: Wade.
Wade: Master Bang, what's the situation?
Bang; as I was saying, you, Wade and I are the only ones who showed up.
Genos: and why is that?
Bang; maybe this Branch is too far away, or perhaps they're busy. Of course, some of the more cold-blooded ones simply don't bother.
Wade:<immediately thinks of Tatsumaki>
Bang; then again, it's hard to blame them. We're only called when there's an impossible problem to take care of, and today's dilemma is no exception. The Threat Level is Dragon, meaning it's a worst-case scenario. 35 minutes from now, a huge meteor will strike City Z. They're asking if nearby Class-S heroes can do anything about it.
Genos: meteor?
Wade: 35 minutes? That's not a lot of time to evacuate.
Bang: apparently it suddenly changed paths. That new trajectory means the end for us. The impact will wipe out City Z. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do this time. Genos, you should think about evacuating with your loved ones, as the others have.
Wade: we can't just give up.
Genos: do the citizens know?
Bang: I was told the powers-that-be would issue evacuation orders 30 minutes before it hits.
