"Audio Log Entry #4203"
"April 17, 2150"
"This is Sebastian Dawson, chief Scientist, from the year: 2048. If anyone is reading this audio log, I request assistance. Conditions in this timeline are dire, and help is hard to find. That is why I am forced to seek help from people off of the time I am stuck in. So that explains the time capsule you are probably holding."
"To give you a better understanding, I have decided to record all of my experiences in the form of these audio logs and Chrono-Transported them into the past, and scattered them all around the globe in the from of dead drops. I shall tell you my story from the very beginning."
"It all started in the year 2034. A chrono-scientist named Stephen Hawking invented the first rudimentary "Time Machine", which he used to travel back in time in a public display of his scientific breakthrough. But due to two particular reasons, he was seriously maimed: One, his chrono-transporter wasn't totally functional. The molecular Re-Arrangement system was primitive and so he was afflicted with "Motor Neuron" and two, his Time Machine was unable to create an alternative timeline and so he went back in time of the same timeline and topology."
"Though it is just a gross over-simplification there are three methods of time travel possible:
One: You get Chrono-transported to the desired time you set out to reach, but this creates a new alternate timeline, or a different world altogether. You mysteriously disappear from your own-timeline, and appear in a new one. All the events taking place in this new one do not, in an way effect the old one."
"Two: You go back in time, of the same timeline, like Hawking did, but there is no guarantee if the Time-Space continuum will be able to sustain that loop in time, so practically ANYTHING may happen to you, or the world. So, now you know why this practice is condemned, and this also resolves the literally age old question of skeptical physicists, unbelieving in time travel: "Where, Oh, Where are all the tourists from the future?". Even if people did want to break their social standing and uh, THE LAWS, you guys live in a time no one wants to visit, No offence!"
"And Three, this one's unidirectional, id est, works only in the forward direction. You need a really fast automobile which can travel round the Earth's equator at a very high altitude and velocity. But mind you, you need to be so fast, time dilation should affect you. Time dilation means that time acts much less on you, than on the rest of the world, since you are travelling faster than light, and therefore, you are in the future. Astronauts have experienced this in space."
"As for myself, I went by the 2nd method, why? All in good time, I will come to that in my future logs. But I'll have you know, I inadvertently got Chrono-transported to the future of 2150, but I am still in one piece. As of now, it's about time a dreaded death squad scours for humans in this barren wasteland of a hide-out, so I'm gonna finish this log with this: HELP!!!"
