"Hey Ouma," Rantaro waved at me. Kaede was with him and did the same thing.

We agreed on meeting up in the park that was the nearest to our houses. It's been about a couple of months since we last saw each other in person. We only had time to communicate through texts.

Rantaro and Kaede had jobs as baristas in a cafe. I didn't get a job since all Danganronpa members earned 110,370 dollars (in USD) each. And since there are ten of us, I think it's about... 1,103,700 dollars in total? I don't know.

What's with the number of the money anyway?

"How's the work?" I asked with a playful grin. Rantaro chuckled. "It's going well. We had a bit of trouble but it's not a big deal." He shrugged. "One time we got a lady that screamed in the shop for mixing up the coffee cups with someone else's."

"She's scary," Kaede shivered at the thought. Kokichi snorted at the image. "It's a Karen, isn't it?" Rantaro nodded. "She got kicked out by our manager, luckily."

'Stereotypical,' I thought.

"How are you doing, Ouma-kun?" Kaede asked as she gave Kokichi a can of Panta. He raised a brow at it. "I'm doing fine at my new job! Nishishi! But what's with you giving me Panta all of a sudden?"

"Something for you to drink. I would give you coffee but you wouldn't like it."

"Maybe because you don't add a lot of sugar!" I pouted at her.

"She's worried you might get diabetes," Rantaro pointed out and I groaned. "Besides, you have enough sugar in your grape soda."

"So Ouma-kun! Enlighten me! What's the case you are given?"

"The Yakuza one!" I lied playfully. Rantaro sighed while Kaede reeled back in shock. That's a good reaction from her, nishishi! "What?!" she gasped.

"That's a lie, try again bud," Rantaro placed his hand on my shoulder.

"You're no fun, Amami-chan!" I whined before reverting back to my 'serious' look while looking at my hand admiringly. "It's the Five Snakes one!"

This time both of them widen their eyes in surprise. Kaede's hands are shaking so much that I was sure the cup of coffee she was holding might drop and spill. Luckily Rantaro took the cup from her so she could calm down while he was pretty surprised himself.

"The Five Snakes case? Really? Are you sure you didn't choose that as your first case?"

"The boss and the famous Kyoko Kirigiri chose it for me!" I exclaimed. "What's wrong with that?"

"It's nothing, just... it's more shocking than the yakuza one." Kaede replied sheepishly. "Thanks for that, Rantaro." She took her cup back from his hands. "Let's go around! I heard a few others are taking a stroll around here!"

"You mean them?" I asked and pointed ahead. In front stood Ryoma and Korekiyo, along with Angie and Tenko. It's surprising for Tenko to be with 'degenerate males' since she hates males. Not all males, however, but even so, she seems good with only a few of them.

"Yeah! Them!" Kaede exclaimed as she went over and waved. "Hey, guys!"

"Nyahaha! Kaede's here!" Angie greeted while she 'prayed.' Tenko turned and smiled at the presence of a female. "Good day, Akamatsu-chan!"

"Nice to meet you, Akamatsu," Ryoma said, unbothered by our presence. He has the looks and height of a young kid (don't tell him I said that) but his voice is awfully deep and mature. Korekiyo 'kheheehee' us as he still wore a mask to cover his mouth. "Yes, nice to see you all. I was getting a bit bothered by Chabashira-san here. I'm grateful you're here."
