It has been a week since I last heard about the letter from the mage of the Five Snakes. I still didn't get what 'of a dream' means, but it gotta lead to something if she wrote that in short!

I need to ask Kyoko!

No.

Yes, I have to.

Nope, you're not gonna do that!

Uh-huh, I am!

Dude, you literally just said that you don't want to sound 'dependent' on her brain skills!

I mean- true, but still! I don't want to commit brain fry!

What the heck did that come from?

After debating with myself, I decided to stay 'independent.' She could be busy doing her own big case anyway.

But... she could spare a few minutes...

Screw it.

I picked up my phone and messaged her.

[Ouma]: Hey Kyoko I need some help here :D

[Kirigiri]: Sure, what do you need?

Wow, that was fast. This is good!

[Ouma]: I have this Five Snakes envelope here and I need help figuring it out :'D

[Kirigiri]: What does it say?

[Ouma]: Of a dream

[Kirigiri]: Hm. That's odd. I'll see what I can do. I'll text you back once I'm done.

Okay! She decided to spare her time...

Now I feel guilt rising up. She was busy, wasn't she? She must've been working when I messaged her something important!

Welp, I now hate myself.

I went to my refrigerator minutes later in my apartment and brought out reheated katsudon. (A/N: don't come at me, I tried to come up with a food that isn't American, and I ain't someone who is interested in cooking) I can go for anything at this point, but a certain part of me is somehow wanting katsudon...

As I waited for the katsudon to warm up, I heard a ding from my phone. I looked over and saw Kyoko's message pop up. Damn, she's fast!

Not really, but why blame her? She needs to think, too!

[Kirigiri]: 'Of a dream' sounds definitely suspicious if it only said just that in your letter. I thought about it and decided to translate it.

I responded back.

[Ouma]: In what language?

[Kirigiri]: Obviously Japanese. The Five Snakes originated here in Japan after all.

Oh.

Even I didn't think of that. She is most definitely the most qualified detective! Nishishi!

[Ouma]: So? What does it say???

[Kirigiri]: ... I can't really say. It'll most definitely make your head throb.

[Ouma]: Pls????

Kyoko didn't respond for a while, but then she started typing. I can tell from my screen.

[Kirigiri]: Y u m e n o

[Kirigiri]: Hope you are doing well. I appreciate your question. Goodbye.

I read the text. 'Yumeno?'
