Stonathan/A trip to New York

Chapter 3

The two boys sat there enjoying each other's company, and Jonathan for the first time in maybe forever felt so..comfortable and kind of safe, he liked that feeling so much in fact he never wants to get rid of it.

Joyce smiled as she watched Steve and Jonathan talking and laughing and smiling. She turned to look back at the road, a smile still plastered on her face.
"You did it on purpose didn't you?" Hopper asked looking at Jonathan and Steve from the small mirror on the front. "Hm?" Joyce hummed, turning to hopper still not taking her smile off of her face.
"Putting Jonathan and Steve together." He explained.
"Yup" she answered popping the p a little clearly happy, proud of what she had done. "I have never seen Jonathan this happy before, especially not with people, he always like to be alone." She explained more. "Yea" hopper answered. The kid got very unique taste in people" hopper chucked. Joyce giggled too taking out a cigarette and lighting it up. Just when she went to put it in her mouth, hopper snatched it from her and put it in his mouth instead. "U- Hopper!" Joyce jokingly shouted. Hopper laughed and then gave the cigarette back to Joyce, she got her hand out to take it, but NOPE hopper snatched again and put it in his mouth. He laughed louder this time and Joyce also jokingly hit him on his shoulder. "Idiot" she muttered.

"And then, we can have like a girls night!" Max said excitedly to el. El smiled softly but then said "what's a girl's night?" Max and Nancy stared at her. "See, this is why you can't always just hand out with Mike" Max replied. "A girls night is like, when only girls go shopping, watch movies, Do karaoke, gossip and just have fun on their own!" Nancy explains and max nodded. "And way more exciting things! We can even go to a theme park and go down a roller coaster!! It's so much fun, just wait till you try it!" Max started babbling excitedly as a rose pink tint covered her cheeks, el was looking at her blue eyes not realizing what she was feeling or doing. This was a new feeling for el.. a feeling she never felt with Mike or maybe WAY stronger than what she felt with Mike. It was like comfort but also nervousness too, and you could feel your heart beating so fast and your palms getting sweaty and you can even feel how red you are in the face. It was a really nice feeling, el decided. And she hoped that max was feeling the same way, but she was way nervous to ask and was scared that it would ruin something between them. Little did she know that max was just feeling the same but she was not confused, she knew exactly what it was, love.

This was for sure love and there was no doubt. It felt the same way with Lucas but maybe even stronger than before. But she didn't have a problem with it, not the slightest, in fact she was proud of being what she was as she Should, she just didn't tell el because she thought el liked mike and besides they were already dating so she was sure she had no chance.

Nancy looked at the too girls who's face's are flushed pink and are clearly in love. She smiled to her self betting with herself that they would be together by the end of the month or never mind, the cend of the week! They were so adorably oblivious!she was sure she was NOT going to miss the day they confess to each other!
