The entire week went by pretty fast and I was excited to spend my weekend with Olivia. We decided to just go to the park nearby and just chat. The weather was quite sunny and not too warm. „HEY LOOK AT THAT TREE" I suddenly shout seeing the perfect tree to climb on. „HECK YEAH I'M IN" she shouted running towards the tree. An hour passes and we decide to go into a cafe.
We arrive and just as we sit down, I see James walking in and noticing us. He walks over to Olivia and I greeting us with a smile. The two don't quite know each other so I'm excited to introduce them. „Hello what would you guys like to order?" the waitress asks „uhm I'll have a slice of cheesecake" after Olivia ordered she looked over to me „uhm I'll have an iced coffee and a slice of cheesecake as well thank you" while James took his order I went to the restroom.
Olivia Pov:
As we were waiting for our food to come James started talking to me. „Hey uh can I trust you by telling something?" he asks „uhm well obviously. Although I'm impressed how fast you trust someone." he looks up to me and says „well you do seem like a trustworthy person and I don't quite have a lot of friends that I could talk with" I did feel kinda bad for him but at least he's got y/n and me. „Go on, you can tell me I won't tell anyone" I must admit I can keep secrets for myself really easily and I do feel like a person you can trust. „Well uh I don't really know how to feel about this" he paused „but uhm I think I have a crush on y/n" WHAT DID HE SAAAYYYY „wait hol' on you barely know her...?" I tried to seem understanding „well that's the point. I can't control it." I was quite shocked „well I won't tell her, that's for sure. You shouldn't rush things tho"
Y/n Pov:
I went back to the table. Just in time. I saw the waitress walking towards us with our food „yess finally food I'm fucking starving!" James gave me an awkward giggle and looked over to my other friend. „Is... something?" I asked as I stopped smiling „oh noo nothing, just kinda moody. You know how it is when you haven't eaten in hours" it seemed like an excuse but I didn't think anything about it. „Oh yeah right" I laughed while sitting down next to Olivia who was smiling at me. While we eat we are having the best conversations, I laugh a lot but it's getting late. „Hey guys we should probably pay and then leave. My parents are probably worried I mean it's..." I looked at my watch „WHAT 8:09 PM??" I didn't even notice it was getting that late.It's summer so the days are longer, the nights shorter.
Everyone payed for their orders and we left. Olivia was going to her Grandparents so we couldn't walk the same way „Bye see you on Monday y/n" „Bye Via!"
James walks next to me as we walk home and chat. He leaves and we say goodbye as I turn left to my house. I watched him slowly walking away till I suddenly heard the door open and my dad pulling me inside the door „DAD WHAT THE FUCK YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME" I shout. He just laughs and let's me down „Jeez that was so frightening i swear to god everything was so fast oh my god- don't do that again" He just laughs even harder as I walk in. I explain them why I am not hungry and talk about what happened today before I took a shower, brushed my teeth and went to bed at about midnight.
