-19- the Party (pt 2)

I pulled him with me, sitting in the circle. I sat next to Olivia, while James and Rodrick sat on the opposite. Rodrick kept his eyes on me and I didn't even notice I was staring at him until Via pushed my shoulder with hers „hey you're staring at him" she laughed in a quiet tone and I turned red looking away from him. When I looked up from the floor, I could see James look at me. I smiled and he looked away. I once again could've sworn he blushed. I was thinking about it until someone brought me back to reality

„Okay is everyone who wants to play here?" a loud voice from behind me appeared and everyone shouted yes. „Okay we're gonna start with..." he looked around „you!" he handed an empty bottle to Olivia. „M-me? Uhm okay" she shrugged and grabbed the bottle. „We're going clockwise. So after her, it's your turn." he pointed at me.

Olivia spun the bottle and after some time it started to slow down and as it was barely moving anymore, I could assume who it was going to land on. A girl with short dark hair, pretty tall and really good style was on the other side of where the bottle has stopped. I looked at Via's red face looking at the girl who was just smiling. Nervously she stood up and made her way over to her, slowly. I think the other girl noticed that she was shy so she made the move and kissed her. Everyone was cheering and a few seconds later, they pulled back, looking at each other. Both of them got out the circle, as they got their turns already. They walked over to the dinner table and I could see them talking. Not going to lie, they looked kind of cute together. 

„Your turn" someone said „oh right" I had completely forgotten that we were playing. I grabbed the bottle and spun it. It took a while for it to slow down but eventually it was pretty much looking like it was pointing towards James. I looked at him, seeing him try to hold back his smile. I widened my eyes. What if I really have to kiss one of my best friends? I was overthinking everything that could happen but the bottle was still slightly moving. Not much later, it pointed directly at Rodrick and stopped. I slowly got up, walking over to him. Our faces were just inches apart and I could see him smile at me, looking into my eyes, then at my lips. I pulled up his face with my index finger on his chin and placed my lips on his. Once again everyone was cheering. The kiss felt so much less awkward than the one we had, not long ago. Not long after tho, I had to pull back but our faces were still close. 

He grabbed my hand and we also walked over to Olivia and the other girl „Hey y/n !" the girl my friend has just met greeted me „oh you know my name?" I laughed „She asked me who I came with so I introduced all three of you." Via said „oh and my name is Janet" she smiled „nice to meet you, I love your name to be honest." Janet said thank you and the four of us started talking about just simple stuff until I remembered something Olivia had told me a few days ago „Via, didn't you tell me about some kind of ‚beef'?" she widened her eyes „uhmm..." she seemed nervous „well sadly I can't quite tell you everything but I'm sure Rodrick knows everything." I looked at him and he seemed a lot more chill. „I can tell you later. Let's just have fun at the party. And besides. It's not that big of a deal" soon later more people gathered up, until no one was sitting in the circle anymore. 

„Where is James ya'll?" I asked. „Honestly I don't know. I'm sure he's fine. I'll be right back" Via said and walked towards the bathroom

Olivia Pov:

I don't know if he is. I saw him walk to the bathroom, but I decided to check on him. 

„Hey James, are you okay?" I knocked on the door. No answer. „Hey" I knocked again. The door unlocked and he let me in, closing it after I stepped in. I looked him in his eyes, seeing his teary eyes. 

Y/n Pov:

My sister was still here, talking to a few people, probably making new friends. Janet walked over to people she could see standing alone. It was kinda nice of her, trying to include everyone. In general she seemed like a very sweet person. Now it was only Rodrick and I. „So uhmm... when will you tell me about James and Ash?" I looked him in the eyes „we'd have to go somewhere more private for tha-" I interrupted him „then let's do that. I'm dying to know." he laughed and we walked upstairs. 

We stopped in front of a door „before I let you in, it might be a little messy. After all, it's my room" I just laughed and he let me in. It wasn't too bad, it looked kind of nice.
