Chapter 6

*A few days later....*
I waked into the living room and saw Riker staring at the ground. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. "He told me." He said plainly. "Who told you what?" I asked even though I knew what he was talking about. He took my hands off his neck and turned around. I was so scared. I don't know why. Then it happened. He hit me.

It burned from where he smacked me. "Riker! I thought you loved me!" I screeched in pain. "I thought the same thing!" He kicked me. I fell to the ground in pain. He kicked me again. I tried to call Ellington but my throat burned. "Please...stop." I cried. He walked away, kicking me one last time.

I managed to pick myself off the ground and carry myself into Ross's room. I stumbled and fell. "Ross..." Is all I managed to get out. Ross rushed over to me and picked me up. "Amanda! What happened?" He actually began to cry. "Riker...hurt...beat....me." My voice was harsh and painful. "That stupid son of a......" He began but I cut him off. "Go get Delly." He slowly put me on his warm, Superman bedspread and rushed to Delly's room. Rydel ran into his room and began to clean up my wounds.

I suddenly heard cussing and screaming from downstairs. I gathered the energy to walk over to the railing and saw Riker and Ross fighting. Ross had punched Riker but Riker managed to punch him back. Mark and Ryland tried to break them up while Stormie and Mom cried. Ellington was breaking the up as well. I was so scared.

"Enough!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Everyone stopped. "Quit fighting! I'm just going to put it out there like it is! Ellington and I are dating!" Rydel looked shocked but happy for me at the same time. Riker elbowed Ross while Ross was walking away. Ross shot Riker a nasty look. Ryland's jaw dropped. Rocky broke down in tears. Ellington smiled. I'm glad that everyone stopped fighting. My new mission was to find Rocky a girlfriend.
