My knees felt weak as Riker tried to hold me up. "Amanda! Your fine! It's okay! He'll be okay!" Riker shook me. "NO HE WON'T!! HE'S GOING TO DIE!" I screamed. I began to kick. Then Riker slapped me.
I called Ross. He answered. "I'm so sorry Amanda. I'm so so sorry." He apologized. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" I was crying so hard I though I was going to choke. "It's not exactly east to tell your girlfriend that just gave birth that you were deployed to Afganistan!" He said. I understood. I said goodbye and hung up.
I was wondering if I should tell Ross if I was pregnant or not but I didn't say a word. I walked into the kitchen and saw Riker had his head in his hands. I went over to him and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry." He said. "For what?" I asked. "For making this." He touched my stomach and rubbed it. "Riker, I've always wanted to have this baby with you." I smiled. He kissed me. I kissed back. Then Emily walked in. She gasped. "We have to get to a hospital. My water broke."
