Chapter 40

I woke up to the delicious smell of pancakes, my favorite food. I smiled to myself, knowing that Ross was probably the one making them. I rolled over and to my surprise, Ross was out like a light. I kissed his nose and rolled out of bed.

I put on matching Batman underwear that Ross had on and one of Ross' shirts. It was so big on me that it went past my knees. Oh well.

I walked downstairs and saw Ryland making breakfast.

"Hi RyRy." I said and he jumped. "Sorry." I smirked and he laughed.

"It's cool." He put two medium sized pancakes on a plate and put it on the counter. I thanked him and ate my pancakes. They were delicious!!

Next, Rydel came down. She gave a sister like hug from behind and ate her breakfast. Rocky was next. He pulled my hair in a playful way and I chased him around the kitchen. Knowing that I would be to slow to catch up, I cut him off and then jumped on him. He seemed shock and didn't know where to hold me at. So I helped him. I put his hands in my butt and reasurred him.

Then I realized something.

"What are you guys doing here?!" I screeched, but not jumping out of Rocky's arms. They laughed and smiled. "Just visiting babe." Riker spooked me from behind. I clenched onto Rocky even tighter. And of course, Ross walked down at the same time.

"What the.... What's wrong with you Amanda?!" He was so upset that he was on the verge of crying. "Ross, this isn't what it looks like." Rocky tried to explain but Ross just shock his head. "It looks like my brother and girlfriend have a relationship!" He screamed. "What?! That's not even close!" I said. He shook his head in disappointment and walked back upstairs. I glanced at Rydel who shrugged her shoulders. "He's over reacting." She tried to reassure me but it wasn't helping.

I decided to go and wake Raini up. I was walking down the hallway when all of a sudden, I heard the beautiful singing voice that I love. Ross was singing to Raini. His voice was sweet and smooth, as if it took no effort to sing that well. I quietly opened the door and watched Ross. He was stroking her hair as she smiled and listened. I felt a few tears escape from my eye.

After he finished singing, he kissed her forehead.

"You can come in now Amanda." He said without even looking at the door.

"How did you know that I was in here?" I asked.

"You can't cry quietly. Ever." He smiled, this time looking at the door.

I walked into the room and before I could do anything about it, Ross engulfed me in a hug. "I'm so sorry Ross. It really wasn't what it looked like." I said. He didn't responded. Just hugged me tighter.

Rydel came in and took Raininout shopping and everyone else went with them. Well, everyone except Ross and I. We were the only one in the house.

We were sitting in the living room when everyone got back. We decided to go to the beach.

Once we all settled down at the beach, Ross got on his one knee and pulled out a diamond ring.

"Amanda, will you marry me?"
