Kaz had just picked an outfit out which he thinks Alice had ordered for him a while ago. And a pair of socks along with white work out shoes.
Today they started training for the newborn army, he had messaged Sam the details of where and when the training was going to take place, and he said they'd be there.
He was nervous. The last time he fought someone in a proper fight would probably be his father. Well kaz wouldn't really call that fighting because his dad liked to strike him everytime he was down.
His father wanted him to be a warrior, a force of nature, a true power who could be unstoppable, an alpha, a king.
And kaz he just wanted to be a normal kid.
So that's why he was nervous. He wasn't worried about not winning because he always won and well of course he wouldn't win he's the strongest and fastest.
But he couldn't lie Jasper hale is a very good fighter, he'd seen them one on one some time with Emmet a while back.
And kaz always thought that was the kind of soldier his father wanted.
He snapped out his thoughts when he heard a knock on his door. Bella peeped her head around it. "Hey, you ready?" She asks softly.
He nods his head and walks towards the door following her outside towards Emmets jeep, which Edward was in.
It was a silent ride. Kaz could tell Edward and Bella where both nervous about this battle.
As soon as Edward parked the car in the woods where there would all be training, kaz got out the car and walk's away from the couple and went straight towards Alice.
"Morning." She greeted him with a peck on the lips. He grumbled a 'morning' back and and wrapped his arms around her waist he stuffed his face in her neck.
"You going be okay doing this? You don't have to." Alice whisper asks in his ear.
"I'll be fine." He responds although Alice could hear the uncertainty in his voice. She knew about his dad and what he used to do. So If kaz gave any hint of wanting to go home she would go back with him and watch a movie or read him a book.
"One word and well go straight back home." She whispers in his ear. As they pull back from the hug and Alice leans on his chest.
He hums.
Before there conversation could go further along with Jasper and Emmets fight what he heard in the background. The shifters had showed up.
"They don't trust us enough to be in there human forms." Edward looks to Carlisle.
"Can't blame them, thats how they probably feel better yano." Kaz said looking towards Carlisle who seemed to get kaz's message.
"If they feel safer in there forms then we'll just have to do this a different way. And we're thankful for them coming." Carlisle looks towards sam with a nod. "You get to translate." He looks towards Edward.
