Waking up, paranoid. "Hey, your home." My father said comforting me. My mother then walks in. It looks like she just got finished crying. "What happened." I groaned rubbing my neck. "Right now your in transitioning." Before my father could finish his sentence I cut him off. "Yeah, I know what happens after." I sighed. "I know this is a big change in your life Steph." My mother said giving me a side hug. "I can't just finish my transition mom." My lips quivered. "This is something I don't want to become." Water starts to fill my eyes. "We know kid." My father said with a sigh. "It's either you finish your transitioning, or your just dead Steph. And that is something I would not condone." My father is right. I can't just be selfish and not finish my transition because I don't want to become a vampire.

I sighed and thought about it. "Okay, I'll do it. I'll finish my transitioning." I nodded. "Good thing I have blood bags always saved up." My father then leaves the room to get a blood bag. "I really didn't want you to flip your vampire side like this." My mother said shaking her head in disbelief. "I know mom, me neither." I sighed. "Okay, I've gotten two. There's AB+ B+ or." Before my father can finish I interrupted him. "Doesn't matter. I'm starving." I giggled. My father passes me the blood bag and I just examined it. The blood bag was cold and the blood looked so refreshing. Without thinking of it any furthermore, I began to drank the blood. I couldn't help it but to aggressively drink the blood bag. "Okay now slow down kid." My father chuckles. "Sorry." I sighed.

"Surprisingly

"Surprisingly. It wasn't as bad as I thought." I smiled slightly. "You'll get used to it. Before you can try people, but you won't. Because it changes you. So for now we're gonna stick to blood bags." My father said ruffling my hair. "Will I still be able to do magic mom?" I asked concern. "Wanna give it a try." My mother asked with a big smile on her face. To be honest, I was scared. If I lose my magic I would lose myself. "Make this rose come back to life." My mother said. I nodded and closed my eyes , while silently chanting the spell. I placed my hands over the pot and the flower began to grow. I looked over to my mother and smiled with shock. "I knew you had it in you. I could still feel your presence and it's strong because your still a Bennett witch." My mother smiled slightly.

I walked up to my mother and gave her a big hug. "I'm just glad I'm still a witch." I sighed. "So am I sweetheart." My mother kissed my forehead. "What's going on." My father asked looking lost. "I'm still a witch dad." I smiled. "That's good." My father laughs with relief in his voice. "So about the school." I asked. It then became quiet. My father faced turned seriously. "We're taking you out kid." My father breathes heavily. "Wait, dad. You seriously can't just pulled me out of the school when I just got out of mystic falls." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Damon we never discussed this." My mother said raising an eyebrow. "Well, it doesn't need to be discussed. She's dead Bonnie." "Well when you put it like that." My mother said with a sigh. "Mom. I'm already comfortable there. I can't just start from scratch again." I said putting both my arms onto my hips. "It's final Stephanie. Your not going back." My father said leaving the room angrily. "It's gonna be okay Steph. Your father is just going through a lot right now. Well, we both are." She sighed. "I'm gonna speak with him." She then leaves the room. I sighed flopping onto my bed. I can't just start all over. I'm surprised I'm not traumatized by what happened. I actually feel more alive and different.
