Being a witch wasn't always easy, well for me at least. My mother taught me the basics I needed to know. But It wasn't enough for me. And when you kind of have a dad who's a vampire it's hard to focus on one supernatural gene.
"Good morning." My father says giving me a kiss onto my cheek. "Good morning." I said giving him a slight smile. "Oh god, what is it." He said with a worried face. "Nothing, what's got you so paranoid." I laughed. "You don't seem like yourself kiddo." I sighed. "Can you please make those famous pancakes you used to make for mom and you." Wanting to change the subject.
"Damon Salvatore famous pancakes coming right up." He said ringing a bell that was on top of the island counter. "I smell pancakes!" My mom says giggling into the kitchen. "Good morning baby." My father says planting a kiss onto my mother's forehead. "Good morning everybody slept alright." My mom said looking at both me and my father. "I slept like a baby." I said giving a big smile. I lied. I wasn't sleeping at all much.
"That's good. I'm glad you like your new room and the house in general." My mother said kissing my forehead and giving me a side hug. "Alright, who's ready for some vamp pancakes." My father said smirking. "I'm surprised I've never gotten tired of eating these." My mother said taking a bite out of my father pancakes.
I don't know why I haven't been sleeping good as much. It's just I've been having these dreams. More live these visions of some girl. It wouldn't matter anyway because I won't tell my mom, she'll worry too much. And my dad on the other hand will literally go on a killing rampage for me. "Oh I gotta take this it's Caroline, can you take Stephanie to school please." My father nodded and made his way out the door."Hey I love you." My mother called out. I looked back at her. "I love you too." Making my way out the door my father opened the car door for me. "Dad, how many times I tell you, you don't have to open the door for me." I said rolling my eyes and giggling. "Yeah yeah, I know." He said rolling his eyes playfully. "Nervous." My dad asked sighing. "Kind of. I'm going to be in a school with a bunch of normal people." I said sighing.
"Well, your uncle went to mystic falls as well while being a vampire. Never thought he'll go back into school, but he wanted to start a new life from scratch." "Yeah, how did it go for him." I said furrowing my eyebrows. "He met a girl. She was human, Elena Gilbert." "Oh yeah I heard about her, mom knew her right?" "Yes, your mother Caroline and Elena were all best friends. Your mother hated me a first." He chuckled.
"What did you did for mom to hate you." I giggled. "Well, a lot let's not speak about it." He sighed. "We're here." He said putting the car into parking. "Remember, if you need anything just call me or your mother. Oh and your mother told me to give you these."
I gave my father a look. "Fine." I said sighing. "Please take them if anything goes wrong. Promise me." He said with a worried look in his face. "Promise." "Have a good day at school. Love you kiddo." "Love you too." I said giving him a slight smile.
