Taking off my shirt while examining the bruises in the mirror, another tear sheds. I sniffle and went to grab a towel to clean of the excess blood. cleaning the blood, I looked up at the corner and saw the picture of my mother and I. I'm just hoping whatever kai did, she will find away to be stronger than he is. I sighed, putting my dirty shirt into the basket and went to shower. I took an extremely cold shower to get my body up and running. seeing the blood drip down from my body, I scrubbed my body really hard, causing my skin to be red. I cried out again. when is this pain ever gonna stop? I just want it all gone. I don't want to feel anything anymore. getting out the shower I threw on a baggy hoodie with some sweats. I didn't even bothered to dry my hair or do it. hearing a knock on my door, I just sat on my bed staring into outer space.
Lizzie then walks in. "Steph, why didn't I see you in class today. someone feeling a little bit naughty." she chuckles sitting onto my bed. I sighed and didn't even make eye contact with her, she notices and says something. "hey, everything alright." she asks furrowing her eyebrows. I looked back up at her shedding a tear. lizzie hugs me and rubs my back, "what happen." she asked pulling away. "my mother is in the hospital." I said in a quiet tone. "I'm so sorry Stephanie." I cried again into lizzie arms. "I don't know what to do anymore." my breathing was getting uncontrollably. "she's strong Steph, she will recover." lizzie says giving me a slight smile. "what got her there." lizzie asked. "Kai Parker." I sighed. "what. kai, wait until my dad hears about this." lizzie says in shock. "how does he know him." I asked furrowing my eyebrows. "he killed Josies and I biological mother, just to feel the need to be powerful and for revenge." she sighed. "i'm sorry lizzie. I didn't know how your biological mother died." i said.

"It's fine. I didn't really knew her." she shrugged. "my dad should hear about this Steph." she sighed. "I should come." I nodded. heading to Mr saltzman's office with lizzie she knocked, "Daddy its me." she called out. "come in." walking into his office Mr saltzman looked at me with a worry look in his face. lizzie and I took a seat. "first things first, you left the school without my permission. you've could've gotten yourself killed Stephanie." he said with anger in his voice. "what was I suppose to do huh? leave my mother and father to die." I shook my head with disappointment. "you could've told me about this. I have history with Kai Parker." he said. "i'm not sorry that I went and took your car to safe the people that I love." I scoffed. "that's not the point Stephanie." he slams his hand onto his desk.
"You can't just go out there and fight any villain Stephanie. you're under my protection" he said touching the bridge of his nose. "I don't care how you feel. what I did was completely normal." I shrugged. "look, i'm sorry she's in the hospital. but for now on your gonna have to obey the rules Stephanie." I shook my head and bit my lower lip. "and you skipped all of your class today." he shook his head. "I had a reason." I said angrily. "why don't you stop worrying about me. because i'm fine on my own." I left the room feeling all sorts of emotions.
"Daddy. are you serious right now." Lizzie crosses her arms. "what she's feeling right now. is totally normal dad. almost losing your mother hurts, I know it does." she said storming out the room. Mr saltzman sat at his desk replaying back what his daughter said to him, and more specially what Stephanie said.
