THE NEXT MORNING

I started to open my eyes there was light coming through the window that was blinding for a moment I crawled out of the bed and looked around the room I couldn't see what it all had when I first got here the room had a desk pins journals and stuff like that I could tell it wasn't really meant for a kid but I just shrugged it off I found a note on the desk with some folded clothes I picked up the note and try to read it I don't know how to read well it's a miracle if you do know how to read in the Undercity I took the note and went to the door thinking maybe I could find the same woman for yesterday my new mom when I open the door I saw someone standing outside

"hello did you not read the note" her voice was kind I held up the note and gave it to her "I don't know how to read it what does it say" she gave me a gentle smile as she got on one of her knees "it's all right little one the note says"

'good morning little one I left you some fresh clothes to change into on the desk you have a bathroom in your room as well go take a shower or a bath either or my friend Elora Will be waiting outside for you if you need anything let her know once you're done she'll take you down to meet me for we can eat breakfast'

She gave me back the note and stood up again "can I ask a question" she gave me a gentle smile as she got back down on her knees "what is it little one" I was nervous and I started to fidget "could you help me get ready I don't know what I'm doing" she had a pitiful expression on her face but she stood back up and offered me a hand "of course little one come on now" I took her hand and she lead me back in the room she lead me to the bathroom

"would you rather take a shower or a bath" I thought for a moment and then decided to go with the bath "could I possibly take a bath" she let go of my hand and started the bathwater I looked at the different stuff that I will be using to clean my body "i'll set them out for you" I gave her a gentle nod "ok this one here is shampoo then you have conditioner and body wash they are all different colors just remember the white one is shampoo the purple ones conditioner and the pink one is body wash" she got a towel out for me and place it on a towel rack "you get undressed and get in the bath I'll bring in the clothes so you can change in here then I'll wait outside" as she shut the door I got undressed and got in the bathwater it was warm I started to clean myself it didn't take me long to do so she had already brought the clothes in for me I got up and drive myself off then got change in the outfit

It was a white dress with some gold markings The shoes was white as well I dried my hair and went outside to see her sitting at the desk she had an extra stall out and padded seat "come sit I'll do your hair" I climbed on the store and sat there she started to get the tangles out of my hair she let majority of my hair down as she put some of it in a ponytail with a bow "all done let's head downstairs" we stood up and exit the room heading down to the dining hall it was silent the way there

Once we got there I saw my new mother sitting at the table "good morning little one how did you sleep" I went to sit beside her "I slept good" she post a hand on my head "that's wonderful to hear" The food came and it looked pretty good we started to eat

"if there's anything you would like to learn let me know" I looked at her then back down at my plate "could you teach me how to read I couldn't read the note or even the labels" I found a hand on my shoulder as I looked up "of course little one you just need to ask" we both finish eating

she got me a tutor to read I was always told that I was a fast learner so it only took me a couple of minutes to figure it out I couldn't really read the big words yet but I'll get there my new mother was very kind to me as well I have ran into some enforce while I was here they knew that I was Mel adopted daughter and gave me a simple bow treating me with respect I also learned how to draw and design I found it interesting so I started to do it I will designing a lot of stuff and figuring out how it would work I started to call Mel mom I'm happy she found me that day I don't know where I would be if she wasn't there
