I turn all the way around to look at Victor on the platform and that thing behind him it in a tube Victor looked behind him and then looked at me and started to come down from the platform to stand in front of me "this is Rio he's a mutant I used to take care of him he was actually one of the reasons why I became Singed apprentice" Victor got all the way down the stairs and stood beside me "yes I'm trying to make he live forever but nothing worked so far" Singed the friend that Victor and dad wanted me to meet stupid side me as well and stared at Rio "I see so it's just in that tube is it I'm sorry is he dangerous" I looked at both of them back-and-forth "No he's not dangerous but this is the only way I can keep him alive for now I'm trying to figure out how I could keep him alive without being in there that's one of the reasons why I found the shimmer I wanted to see if I could keep him alive that's why you see the purple in the tube" I gave him a quick nod

as I heard a chair scoot back "we should get going now you two we have to go back before the meeting starts" I gave dad a quick note as I turn my attention to Singed "it was a pleasure meeting you hopefully I can see you again maybe you can explain a little bit more of your restraints to me" I gave him a gentle smile "that would be nice it was a pleasure to meet you too I hope to see you at a later date"

Singed walk us to the up the cave we said are goodbye and that we will see him at a later date we made it all the way back to the palace where we saw mom waiting for us "there you three are I was going to have someone go out to look for you guys the meeting is about the start we should head to the place now" mom walked in front of us as I said my goodbyes to Victor

Dad stay by my side the entire time not wanting me to disappear again we got to the building and I saw Powder Caitlyn Eric Vi and Ekko outside the door waiting for us "we're going to head in you and Silco will stay out here until Eric bring you two in I'm going to inform the counselors of what we're planning to do then bring you two in and actually talk about it"  I gave mom a  smile as she went into the room with everyone else except for Eric

POWDER POV

Once we stepped inside we noticed that there were some chairs sitting around Mel motion for us to go sit in them and we all did while she sat in her seat "so why did you call this meeting" everyone attention was turned to Mel  "you see my daughter has found a way to work everything out peacefully in the undercity" we heard some gasp and whispering "then why isn't she here Mel" it was that Jayce guy "she's outside waiting for Eric to bring her and Silco in" I saw one guy stand up had blonde hair he was wearing red mostly he was skating with pale skin "you can't be serious Silco is here is he in handcuffs" Mel shook her head no "why isn't he he has caused so much trouble" that time it was Caitlyn's mother " like I said my daughter has worked everything out peacefully with him we just need to sign off on it I sent all of you a copy of the list of his demands last night I presume that you have read it and I want to know your thoughts on it also that's not the only thing we're giving to the undercity there's other stuff but that will take time but for now this is what it would take for peace to happen" we saw everyone at the table looking around not knowing if this was the right thing to do

"I have heard his demands from himself he seems pretty set on all of these demands but we can limit his shimmer we can have them to stop using shimmer entirely" Jayce was about to continue before Mel cut him off "quiet he did tell me about that but he also told me some of the stuff that shimmer could do I don't know everything about it but I would like to to see if we can use the shimmer as an energy source" I could tell that Mel wasn't everybody's favorite person in the room right now "are you mad shimmer is harmful I mean we don't even know what it could do and how do we know that he's not gonna turn his back on this treaty" I was surprised that Mel wasn't getting mad or anything she just sat there calmly "I understand that we don't know everything shimmer and what it does but that also being said we don't know if we could help people or not" everyone started to whisper again I could hear that a lot of them was agreeing with Mel "and how do we know that he isn't going to turn his back on this how do we know that he isn't going to poison us from the inside what's stopping him I mean we read The list and everything he wants to sit at the table how do we know that he isn't going to poison us from the inside with that power" Mel was about to say something before the doors opened up

Dad and I were both waiting by the door it's been a couple of minutes almost close to an hour we could hear what they were talking about I could tell that dad was getting impatient I decided to take his jacket off a few minutes ago and gave it back to him so he had his jacket back and he had it on I heard Caitlyn's mother chime in again "and how do we know that he isn't going to turn his back on this how do we know that he isn't going to poison us from the inside what's stopping him I mean I will read the tomatoes and everything he wants to sit at the table how do we know that he is going to poison us from the inside with that power" I saw that got dad angry and he push the doors open make me jump a little

with that he started to walk inside and I follow right after him "I wouldn't try to do anything harmful to this city especially because my daughter lives here and for unknown reasons to me she loves the people up here"
