"you're gonna do what" Victor's voice was only a whisper "I said I'm gonna go after it we don't know what they can do with it in the wrong hands I don't want to think about that so I'm gonna go after it I won't be alone though" Victor looked at me like I was mad "Kid I don't think you should get it I know that we are you know from there but it's dangerous you haven't been there in years I don't think anyone knows who you are down there" we're only speaking in whispers so no one could hear us "I know that but I have to go get the gemstone they won't give it to any enforces if they don't know who I am I have a higher chance of getting it plus I'll take Power with me" we both finish eating and we were getting ready to leave "I don't like this plan but it might be the only way I'll cover for you if your mom asks where you two are I'll just say you and Power went to go scout out different places for the wedding" I helped Victor up "thank you we shouldn't be gone long we're just gonna go see if we can find it and that's it" we were our separate ways I was heading to the lab to grab Power

AT THE LAB

I put my gas mask on and put my goggles on my head I heard the music blaring again I went over to the radio and turned it down "hey babe is something the matter" I went over to the desk and took a sit beside her "yeah I don't have the gemstone on me we're gonna go get it" she looked at me confused "didn't Victor said he was going to give it to you what happened" I stood up and grabbed a bag and started to put some bombs in it "There was a break-in last night they took one of the gemstones we're going to go and get" I heard her stand up immediately pushing her chair back "where are we going to go get it" She started to shove bombs and tools that she need in her bag and the tools and little stuff like that in the bags around her shoes "the undercity Victor told me that all the enforcers said it looks like someone from the other city so high possibility we need to go down there" I grab the smoke bombs and sleeping gas "it's been a while since we've been down there" we put our gas mask and goggles in our bags after we exit the room "it has hasn't it but this may be our only choice We don't know what the gemstone could do we know if stable but that's it we don't know what type of weapons could be built with it or how many" we started to head out

"I just thought of something how long are we gonna be gone for" I took a knee around the Clift to look at the other city "don't know but we don't have to worry about mom finding out Victor is covering for us saying that we're looking for a place to have the wedding" I stood back up and put my mask on "the air is tough to breathe down there we both know that put the gas mask on we can take it off once we get kind of used to it but for now we should keep it on why we're going down" Power step aside me and she put her mask on "this is crazy where do we even start to look for it"

"don't know there's only one way to find out though" and with that I jumped down "(y/n)" I heard my fiancé yelled my name has she tried to catch up with me wish she did "aren't you glad I took out the phones when we were younger and we practice test hopping from branch to branch" We were both hopping from roof the pipe pipe to roof "yeah at least you kept us both in shape for this we're you planning to come down here anyways" we made it to one of the alleyways and we stopped "Can't say I was I always thought though it might be good to come down here just in case if we need something so we had to blend in even though we're both from here" I took off the mask and started to cough a little "I forgot how thick this air was" Power took her ass off as well and started to cough "you and me both" after a couple of minutes we were good

"where to first" we both got out of the alleyway and started to walk around "we should get some information I know a place we can stop and eat at and he should give us some information" I noticed I was around noon it took us a couple of hours to get to the cliff then a couple more minutes to get down here "that's a good idea it's been a while since we both had a undercity food"

Me and Power made it to one of the stalls we sat down the person that was cooking he wasn't human he was blue and had four arms "it's been a while will have the number two will share it" he prepare the food and set it in front of us it was a bowl of slugs I want to say "this looks amazing just like when I was a kid" Power started to eat it but I was hesitant "
it's not bad and it's not poison try it" she handed me one I thought what the hell and I tried it "it isn't bad I have to say I think I remember getting these when I was a kid as well" Power Ate the majority why I had a few "you didn't eat that much why was that" I wipe my mouth "because before I came to get you to come down here I was eating with Victor so I'm not that hungry love" after we finish he gave us a piece of paper Power lifted it up Sam so she could see it "I got the place we can go" we said thank you and goodbye and we left
