Prom was right around the corner. Riley saw boys asking girls to prom but she was waiting for Lucas to ask her. When she thought Lucas wasn't going to ever ask her, Lucas came up to her. He handed Riley a little bouquet of flowers. There was a little note attached to it. It said "Riley Matthew, my beloved girlfriend, will you do me the honor of going to prom with me?" As Riley was about to say something Lucas spoke up. "Look in the middle of the flowers." Lucas said looking at her. Riley did as she was told. She saw what it was and looked up at Lucas surprise written all over her face. Lucas just stood there smiling at his girlfriends reactions. In the middle of the flowers was a beautiful neckless. Riley took the little box out and grabed the necklace carefully. She admired it and something caught her eye. In the back "Lucas's Girl" was engraved on it. Riley felt as if she was going to cry from joy. Lucas was still waiting for a response when he felt Riley's lips against his. He was surprised at first but then he kissed back. When they pulled away Lucas was the first to speak. "I'll take that as a yes." Lucas said smirking. Riley giggled " Yes! A MILLION times yes!!!" Riley exclaimed. It was settled they were going to prom together.
