It was Missy. Riley felt a little bit scared. Missy just stepped back. "Riley look, I'm sorry for punching you and saying those mean things to you. I just wanted to apologize. If you don't forgive me thats fine, I just wanted you to know that" Missy said looking Riley straight in the eyes. Riley was examining Missy really carefully to make sure she wasn't just pranking her or something. She came to a conclusion that Missy was truly genuine. "You're forgivin" Riley said giving in. Missy gave her a warm smile and left the janitor closet. Riley stayed there for like a minute thinking this could be the start of a beautiful friendship. Riley walked out of the closet. She saw Lucas waiting for her. She just walked to the oppisite direction of him. He ran up to catch up to her. He grabbed her wrist to make her face him. "What did I do?" Lucas asked clueless. "You played with me Frier" Riley said hurt showing in her face. Suddenly Lucas knew what he did. "Riles I'm so..." Lucas began. Riley interrupted "Save it. I knew you were bad news the day you got here." Riley said now with tears in her eyes. Lucas was so mad at himself for causing her to feel pain. "You made me think you really liked me. I thought you cared. I guess I was just another girl you played. I don't know how I could of been so stupid." Riley said now crying. "Riley. It's not that. I really, really like you" Lucas said now about to cry. Riley didn't believe him. "Yeah sure. Just don't talk to me or get close to me again" Riley said running off to her fathers classroom knowing she was late and not wanting to see Lucas anymore. Lucas got so angry with himself. He punched a locker next to him. He was the cause of her pain. He hated that. He slid down and cried. "What have I done" Lucas thought.
