When Tommy did get around to tell Polly about finding Micheal she was resistant at first, wanting both her children under the one roof again. It was what other mother would have wanted.
Tommy needed Aurora's help to reassure Polly that they would be reunited again all she had to do was wait a few weeks more.
Polly did as asked and spent her time learning anything she could about Anna, her beautiful little girl now woman and wife. They had a lifetime to catch up on.
Anna dedicated her time to familiarizing herself with Polly's world and vise versa. It had been a long time since she lived with muggles and Anna could truthfully say she didn't miss it. The muggleborn remained glued to her families side as they traipsed through Small Heath, thankful they were aware of magic.
The boys joked that they would never have to clean or cook again with magic so easily at the dispense. Anna smiled and changed there hair pink for an hour in spite. She was a feminist at heart.
Finn who had received his own letter for Hogwarts two years previous had taken to Anna like a duck out of water, he remembered seeing her in the corridors at Hogwarts. They even exchanged words when Finn punched a particularly snobby Ravenclaw.
Everything was looking up for the Shelby family and come September the youngest and most possibly brightest Shelby was going to start his third year at Hogwarts. No other Shelby had received a full education, they couldn't afford it then.
Tommy had smiled all day when he heard the news, another wizard in the family. The Shelby's were always meant for greatness and Finn's magical abilities showcased this.

"Tommy darling?" Aurora called out into the quiet house. The vela soaked in her bubble bath, encased in oils and lavender.
"Hmm" he mumbled leaning against the door frame taking in the view before him. Tommy liked to stop and appreciate his wife everyday to remember what he had to live for.
"What time do I have to be ready for?"
"Whenever your ready love, the party doesn't start until your there anyway" he grinned tilting her head up for a short kiss. His hands wandering down her body gently fully enjoying their alone time.
"Oh Tommy!" Aurora giggled blowing bubbles in his direction. "I think the party starts when the alcohol begins to flow"
"Mmh you might be right love. But you get my party started" he joked playfully, watching as her head tilted back into a loud laugh. He missed these moments, just the two of them. No kids hanging out of them for attention, no accidental magic blowing up a part of the house, it was just like their teenage years.
"Well I think we have time for that" Aurora grinned standing up giving him the perfect view of her body. It should have been illegal to looked that good, so enticing.
Tommy didn't answer her verbally but he took action and picked her up with an excited grin. Aurora giggled childishly as she bounced on the bed, he didn't give her time to lean forward as he pounced.
"Tom" Aurora moaned tugging at his body, he was still fully clothed.
"Mmm you can be as loud as you want love, we're home alone all night.." he trailed off forgetting the fact that they both expected at the Garrison reunion in an hour.
"The party"
"We'll get there" Tommy muttered his mind solely focused on his wife before him. Aurora was the only thing that would cause Tom's tardiness.
