~MIGUEL POV~

I looked up at the lady and realized I was looking at Frida Kahlo.

I tried to stammer for an answer. "I-I just f-followed—"

Frida cut me off with a gasp.

"Oh! The nightly Xolo dog! Guided of wandering spirits!" She then turned toward me. "And whose spirits have you guided to me?"

"I-I'm not sure he's a spirit guide." I told her.

Frida waved her finger at me. "Ah, ah, ah. The alebrijes of the world can take many forms. They are as mysterious as they are powerful."

I took a step back as the creature on her shoulder blew out blue fire. Once it was done, it let out a couch of smoke. We then turned to see what Dante was doing and saw him chocking on his own foot.

"Or Maybe he's just a dog." Frida shrugged. "Come, I need your eyes."

Frida dragged me over to a bench.

"You are the audience." She clapped her hands twice. "Darkness."

She lit a match, the only thing we could see was her face.

"And from the darkness, a giant papaya." The spotlight turned to a giant wooden papaya. People began to crawl out of the middle, as if they were seeds. "Dancers emerge from the papaya. And they are me! And they go to drink from the milk of their mother. Who is a cactus. Which is also me! And her milk is not milk, but tears!"

Frida turned to me looking worried.

"Is it too obvious?"

"Uh, I thinks it the right amount of obvious?" I said. "It could use some music. What if you did,"

I proceeded to make a tune. Frida snapped her fingers and the musicians copied me. I made another tune and they copied again.

"And what if everything was on fire!"

The dancers looked at each other worried.

"Yes! Fire! Everywhere! Inspired." She patted my face. "You have the spirit of an artists!"

The dancers scattered as the musicians played another song. "The dancers exit, the music fades, the lights go out and Ernesto And Elevara De La Cruz rises to the stage!"

I waited excitedly to see him, but the spotlight shined on him to reveal it was in fact, not him.
