The rattle sounds of the carriage's wheels grinding over the ground, my head forced to look at the satin flooring as we traveled. The person traveling with me wore a dark long coat, long leather boots, long pants and a white undershirt with a scarf around his neck. His messy green hair curled over to his neck and his eyes were sparkling red with the essences of his kind. I felt his eyes glaring at me as if I was going to spring up and attack like a wild animal, huffing from under his breath.

"Hmph, what a pain it is saving a useless human. What joke," he grumbled under his breath.

I, myself, however, was both confused and scared of what was becoming of me. A moment flashback of what happened hours ago; my village was raided by dark shadow knights had plagued on my mind and made me sob inward. I remembered how the flames burn to ashes driven by the screams of the people around me. I ran as fast as I could away from the village until I met the strange creature that reached out his hand to me and snatched from my never ending nightmare. He had a very hard look on his pale face that was hidden away from the daylight and his attire inquired to me that he was a noble. Compared to my long woolen dress and mud covered shoes.

"Sir.." I stuttered but received not answer from the person, "Good sir, where are you taking me?" I asked loud enough for him to hear me.

His hands grabbed a fist full of my hair and forced my eye up to glare into his blazing eyes.

"Did I say you could talk, wench. Silence yourself or I cut your tongue out." His dark voice hissed through his sharp pointy teeth which made me shiver. He pushed me against the carriage seating causing me to curl up against the soft cushions. However, he didn't force me to look at the flooring anymore as he turned his attention to complaining to the driver to hurry up. Twiddling my fingers I watched the passing scenery as we traveled on the road. My mind started to wonder why this man had saved me from the destruction of the village. All I remember was as I was running and he came out of nowhere, pulling me into the carriage.

'Selena! Come with me, you are wanted by our Lord.

Slowly I noticed there was a change in scenery; the forest clearing revealed a large mansion estate in the middle of nowhere; the tall gates opened to the new world, the weather was cloudy without any drop of sunlight over the land, there was a large garden full of beautiful white roses lined along the outside of the road where a patio for dining around. Looking outside I saw other children around my age playing outside, it excited to know there were other kids like me. Before I look, even more, the male traveler grabbed by my neck down and whined at me.

"I told you to say down. Don't you ever listen?!" he shouted at me and started to squeeze my thin neck causing the skin to bruise. I screamed out and tried to fight him as he pushed me into the seating.

"Please mercy, Sir! Don't kill me!" I cried out.

"Oh I won't kill you yet my little pet, but I'll enjoy the pleasure of hearing you scream." he purred darkly into my ear grinning at me with his fangs. Pinning me under his lean body, I felt a wet tongue caress the side of my neck which made my blood run cold. Panicking, I kicked him directly in the groin making him clutch in pain and stormed out of the carriage. The hands of the servants reached out to grab me as I ducked down and bucked into the cold frame of another person. I punched the person who held me with an iron grip crying out in a panic. His hands were ice cold which burnt into my flesh.

"NO! NO! LET GO OF ME!" I screamed and pushed back trying to break free.
