My eyes rolled inward as I turned around to see the hot-headed vampire sitting on the foot end of the table glaring at me and the raven haired with the glasses son of Beatrix sitting on the other side.

Reiji, the second eldest was the complete total opposite of his brother; like a dull stone, no lustre, quiet and a head that always stuck in the books. Which I was expecting more from Shu, but then again, they were vampire siblings and he was the second eldest who lived in the shadow of his brother. His mother was more focused on the Shu than Reiji, himself and I always noticed how hard he worked to impress his mother.

"You got some nerve showing your face here." he snarled at me as his yellow eyes glow with anger. I turned my head away, avoiding eye contract with him.

"Quiet, Ayato. I'm trying to read." Reiji commented harshly, turning the paper. Ayato mumbled to himself and started scribbling something on a page.

'This is going to be a long and dread night if I'm stuck in the same room with that annoying red head' I said mentally to myself.

Walking to the book shelf, I took out some books to study and proceeded to the table taking my seat. I could feel Ayato's eyes watching me as I opened my books, but I chose to ignore him. I wasn't in the mood to fight with him as much as I wanted to. But I would be in trouble with his mother, Queen Cornelia and will be punished in a dreadful manner as she saw fit.

A ball of crumpled paper hit my head, which knocked me from my daydream. Looking up I saw the siblings were busy reading but I turned my head toward Ayato. Throwing the paper away, I focused back to my studies till a minute later, another paper ball hit my head. My nerves twitched, but I forced myself not to look murmuring. Again, another paper ball hit me, but this time I saw it was something written inside. I opened the crumpled paper and I saw a stick figure of what looked to be a stick figure girl holding a round item in with the words 'Ugli Humin' written on the top. I stared at him with a straight look as he tsked and pretended to be busy murmuring something.

'That was really immature, Ayato. Really, really immature.' I said with a slight annoyance noting his bad grammar and spelling as I throw the paper away again.

Presuming that Ayato grew tired of his game or run out of paper as nothing was thrown at me. I read over the chapter of literature and wrote on my page. Dipping the tip of the quill into the ink jar I started to write out my notes and reflect on the wording in the book. Suddenly a book was thrown in front of me knocking the ink jar over, I gasped and jumped out of my seat as the ink dripped over the table onto the floor. My dress was stained with a dark splash of black ink, making my face turn red to compliment my orange dress.

"Ayato, you jerk! Why did you do that?!" I asked sternly at him. He got up from his seat, staring at me angrily.

"What did you say! Are you talking back to me, Human-wench?" he demanded.

"Yes I am! You threw the book at me and now my dress is stained!" I pointed at the puddle out to him. He stomped his feet toward and towered over me with an angry glare.

"Well you started it You refused to answer to your Lords, disrespectful brat!" he insisted, my anger was boiling inside but I clutched my fist trying my best to control it. Ayato always knew how to rattle me up into a fight.
