I stop there, looking dumbfounded at the headmistress.Lord Karlkienz has finally returned and he's requested an audience with me! Words couldn't explain how excited I was to see the King again.

"Lord Sh-" I looked back to see Shu's facial expression changed dramatically. His eyes became cold as ice and stared at the floor with neutral expression. My heart sadden as looked at him wondering why he changed so sudden.

"My lady please!" The head mistress begged grabbing hold of my arm dragging me away.

"Wait! Shu is it ok?" I pulled my arm away and walked back him. He was silent, looking in the other direction. I reached out to touch his hand but he moved back and turned around

"Lord Shu

"Go." His voice was stern and full of bitterness. My eyes widen with shock by his behavior. One minute I was a completely different person, someone who called an value but now standing before was the same Shu, the stone statue.

Forcing myself to leave I bowed to him and followed the headmistress.

After walking up a flight of stairs, the headmistress had me wait outside while she addressed the king. However I was slightly. It has many moons since I've seen the King and it wasn't long before she reappeared gesturing me to follow. I walked into the private study of the king where the shelves were full of literature and the flumes of chemicals lingered the air. Within the centre of this haven seated proud King reading a faded leather book. The king wear only his white shirt and formal pants with silver hair in a loose ponytail, his eyes sparked with interest as he read. I stared at his highness with admiration and love.

"Sulphur is amusing. It can bind, create and tarnish anything within its form." He said sudden turning around to look at me with golden eyes.

"What is the most valuable element it can tarnish?"

I thought carefully for a moment remember my lessons in alchemy before looking at King.

"Silver and Gold." The king's hummed in agreement.

"Correct, I'd expect no less from my most faithful progetee." He stood and strode toward smiling, "Its been quite some time since I've seen you, Selena Leingod."

"Welcome back Master Karlkeinz." I said, bowing to the king

"I see you have grown into a fine young lady since I've seen you." He complimented hold my chin up to examine me carefully.

"You are too kind, master." He leaned closer to me, looking at his handsome face caused my cheeks to flush as I averted my eyes away from him.

"Yet you still have that fiery in your eyes."

"Perhaps not. What troubles you my dove?" He asked noticed the sad look on my face. Looking back at him, I forced a smile on my face.

"Nothing dire master." His eyes looked into mine intensely.

"Whether it is dire or not your eyes cannot lie to me."

Turning around he sat down on the chair and relaxed. "But never the less sit down Selena, I wish to know how do you fare with yours studies?"

"Yes, I have learned alot since our last visit Master. I am fluent now in my Latin, master and I have learnt now geographic of the map itself." He nodded his head listening carefully.

"Yes yes, very good but what about history. I heard you are starting a new section."

"Well I learned about the Silver Cross guild."
