Alora
I sat there for only a few minutes after he had left. I soon took my leave as well and walked throughout the palace, taking in all its sights and grand views.
It was quite lovely, the kingdom of Asgard. I was enjoying my time here for the most part. Besides being interrupted by the prince, it was peaceful.
I knew my time here was coming to an end for now. I soon arrived at my usual clearing. I took a deep breath before calling to my grandfather.
"Father Ambrose, I bid to return home," I whispered. When I opened my eyes. I stood in the middle of the grand garden. I took a breath of relief, making the disguise I wore yet again fade. I then stood in a cloud white gown. My hair was tied back in a singular braid and a head band with a butterfly in the center made out of pure gold sat upon my head. I made haste to enter the palace I had always called home.
When I entered, I saw my mother pacing back and forth in the thrown room. My father sat in his thrown with my sister beside him.
My mother finally stopped and peered up at me. "My darling, Alora, you're finally home!" She pulled me into a tight embrace.
"Elinora, are you to let her breath?" My father asked.
"Androgeus, she has been gone for weeks. I have every right to be happy my daughter is home." As my mother said the word happy, a yellow light appeared above her head and vanished at the end of the word.
My sister scoffed at the conversation happening between the two. My father, king of the Heavens, was the God of the Elements. My mother, the queen, was the Goddess of Emotions.
I looked at my sister, giving her a wicked stare. I leaned my head towards the doors and she quickly understood what I wanted. She stood up, not leaving my eyes before she reached the door.
"As much as I love being welcomed home, I do have duties to attend to," I stated before sliding out of my mothers arms. I saw a blue light flash upon her head before she gave me a small smile. I returned the gesture and nodded to my father before following my sister.
"Esha!" I called after her. She came to a stop. Her amber eyes meeting mine. My sister and I appeared nothing alike. She had blonde, almost white hair, with amber eyes, and pale skin. I had different shades of hair, navy eyes, and fair skin. In the corners of my eyes I possessed butterflys, in hers, stood what appeared to be sideways crowns.
She smiled, "It's great to have you back, what took you so long?"
"You know exactly what took me so long. Do not tempt the prince. You cannot ruin this mission for me!" I lectured.
"Sister, you know I only do what I must. If I must persuade someone, then I shall."
Here's a little background on Esha. Born the second child of the current king and queen, our parents, she was born the Goddess of Temptation and Desire. She never shared what she desired, but only what others wanted. She shared that our brothers wished to trade powers, that our mother wished to be less emotional, and that our father wished to no longer be king.
She never shared what I wanted though, for everyone already knew.
I knew what Esha wanted. She wanted the thrown. She desired nothing but overall power, much like a certain someone I had just met.
"But you cannot tempt him, sister. He's going to cause ruin to all the realms. It is my priority to preve-"
"The priority you gave yourself? So that you can prove that you are worthy of the thrown. You are already entitled to it, Alora. You do not need to do a thing to get there. I, on the other hand, do. Now, don't you have some work you need to catch up on?"
