Behind The Scenes

"Hello?"
"Yes sir, what do you need?"
"I'm on my way"

I get into my sports car, driving to meet my boss. Apparently I have another assignment, and I need to go deep undercover for this one.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm y/n y/l/n, undercover agent. I'm the best in my field of work.

I arrive at the base, going in to meet my boss, he is harsh but fair.

*knock knock*

I hear a deep voice shout "come in"
"whats the assignment?" I say, getting straight to the point
"Hello to you too agent y/l/n, please, take a seat"
I refuse his offer, still standing hoping to get this over and done with as soon as possible
*sigh* "you are here for a hard assignment, you will be working along side the uswnt-"
"why is there any need for this" I say, frustrated that this is even necessary
"let me finish agent y/l/n"
"you will be working along side the uswnt, making sure to stay undercover and this was our only option, I apologise for this but you are the only agent with previous soccer experience, and I know that you are extremely good, so you have no choice" he says sternly
"head coach Jill Ellis already is already started spotting you from your league games, this will be used for a great advantage to us, she will know nothing about this assignment, am I clear?"
"Yes sir" I say, clearly frustrated at this point
"you are going to be working on a group of extremely dangerous criminals and I thought that you would be the best agent for this job" he says seriously
"I understand" I say, hoping for this to be over now
"I will text you the details tomorrow, you will be leaving in 2 days to go to camp, and you better stay on the roster, got it?"
"got it" I say through gritted teeth, he knows how irritatated I get easily.
"you may leave"

I leave the room, as quick as possible. He really pisses me off sometimes.

Time to get packing, I guess
