Going home

*Beep* *beep* *beep*
I slowly open my eyes, hearing a slow but peaceful beep coming from beside me, some machine sounding this peaceful rhythm

I look around the small room im in, recognising it immediately making me sigh heavily

Im back at the base, in the best hospital room available, this room is only used for the best recruits.
I furrow my eyebrows slightly, confused on why i was here

"Oh fuck" i mumble, suddenly remembering the events that had unfolded
"Michael, the dickhead" i mumble to myself, remembering what he did to me and put me through
Although, this sends my mind spiraling, remembering exactly what happend, and exactly who came for me

The girls! Oh shit, are they ok? Are they hurt?
All these questions spun around my mind, thinking of all the possibilities of what could have happened to them

My heart rate suddenly increases, making the beeping sound rapidly increase in speed and gradually got louder and louder until someone burst into the room

"Woahhh, agent y/l/n, you need to calm down" a sweet voice says from beside me
I look up to see a younger lady, probably around her early 20s

I just nod my head, taking deep breaths and trying to focus on anything else
I stare out the window, watching the cars go past, the rain softly hitting the window, streaming down it slowly

I eventually manage to get my breathing under control, calming my heart rate at the same time

I cant believe i got so worked up over those 4 ladies, i barley know them yet i feel as though id be lost without them

I quickly change my soft and slightly panicked looking face back to my straight face, ensuring no emotion was showing
"Im fine" i mumble towards the nurse, slowly getting up, attempting and succeeding to cover up the pain i am in, keeping my face emotionless

"Woah, you need to sit down, you have had quite the scary and painful few days" the nurse said from behind me, attempting to gently pull me back towards my bad

"I said im fine" i said with my jaw tightly clenched, yanking my arm away from the sweet ladys grip

She just nods gently before removing the wire from my arms, allowing me to leave, having now a slightly scared look on her face, making me feel a little bit of guilt, not enough to apologise though

I quickly get changed, putting on my full black outfit, my sunglasses and slowly making my way around the facility, finally reaching the exit i have been so eager to find

I put my hand back on the door handle, just about to turn the handle until i hear a deep voice speak from behind me

"And where are you going" the boss says, more as a demand than a question
"Back to the hotel" i say looking him dead in the eye
"And why would you be doing that?" He asks, now more as a question, raising his eyebrow slightly
"To continue with my assignment?" I say, more as a question to myself, now unsure on why i was so eager to get back to the hotel
"Your assignment is done agent y/l/n, Michael has been captured, you are not to see those ladies again" he says, sounding more serious than he ever has
"Im going to that hotel, those ladies could still be in danger, if you will fire me then do so, but i am leaving" i say, now challenging him, staring at him dead in the eye
"You're fired" he says now back to me
"Ok, goodbye" i say, not having a care in the world and proceed to exit the tall building

I start to walk down the street, immediately recognising my surroundings, knowing the hotel is just a few minutes walk from this area

I don't get too far before my phone pings in my pocket, notifying me i have received a notification

I look down at my phone, realising its a message from the boss
'your assignment is to look after those girls until further notice' he messages me, making me smirk immediately, i knew he wouldnt ever get rid of me, im his best agent

'yes sir' i type back with a smile now plastered on my face before quickly removing it, allowing my face to go back to emotionless

I walk for a few more minutes until i am face to face with the large hotel.
I proceed to enter the tall building, hood up so i am not recognised, i dont wish for any of the girls to know i am here yet

I walk up towards my hotel room, passing the dinner hall which i stop at, now realising its silent in there, no one daring to utter a word. This makes me feel slightly guilty, maybe the boss was right, im making these girls life miserable.

I sigh as i walk up to my hotel room, packing up my belongings, quickly before proceeding to exit my room with bags in hand

I slowly walk down the long corridor towards the lift, ensuring i dont injure myself any further

The bing of the lift goes, notifying me it was about to open. The doors open slowly, again silence is heard.
I look up before seeing all 4 ladies staring at me in shock before alex proceeds to jump on me, hugging me tightly, making me cringe in pain slightly.
It isnt long before the other girls snap out of their initial shock, following alex's lead by hugging me tightly, even hope who usually doesnt get involved in any of this

Its a few minutes before anyone even thinks of letting go. Eventually i manage to peal all the girls away from my now aching body, suddenly realising how much pain i am in

My eyes begin going slightly fuzzy before my body stumbles slightly, before strong arms catch me, keeping me upright and balanced

"Woah, you ok?" Hopes voice sounds
I blink a few times, getting my vision back before pulling away slightly, just out of hopes reach
"Yeah sorry" i mumble before looking down at the ground, picking up my belongings and attempting to walk into the lift
However, 4 bodies block the way

"Where are you going?" Christen says in her sweet voice, making me smile slightly but stop before anyone notices
"Home"....
