Hi guys!

I promise this is going somewhere important.

Although I myself stoped writing (at least for now), I picked up my childhood reading hobby (other then fanfics😂). I had a lot on my mind for a while - hence why I stoped writing - and reading books really brought me peace of mind and helped with my anxiety. I even started a bookclub with some of my friends, and since we're all queer we mainly read queer books.

I came accross this new book by Lyla Lee, called 'Flip the Script'. It's a sapphic rom-com about a girl, Hana, who stars in a new kdrama where she is forched to fake date her co-lead as a PR stunt. She later falls in love with her other co-star and best friend Minjee.

I was super interesed in reading this book myself, and I did, and found that the message behind this book was so wonderful. It did exactly what I tried to do with 'Road to Acceptance', and obviously better.

The thing is, I'm European, and where I live, things are definitally better than in other countries. So that was also the reason why I wrapped up 'Road to acceptance' so sudden, cause I realised that I may not had enough inside into the Korean culture, especially not when it comes to the LGBTQ community.

Since Lyla Lee herself is Korean-American, she knows alot more about the Korean culture and such, I think she has a better view of how things really go in Korean culture.

What I want to say basically is that, if you have enjoyed 'Road to Acceptance', I highly recommend you to read 'Flip the Script' by Lyla Lee.

Even though I'm not Korean myself, I found it really hard to see so little queer representantion/acceptance in Korean culture - and other cultures as a matter of fact -  which is why I wrote 'Road to Acceptance' in the first place.

I wanted to show that in non-friendly LGBTQ countries - not only Korea - that things need to happen for things to change.

I really support the message that Lyla Lee tries to bring with this book (and her other book about kpop) and I really thought she deserves even more support, hence this little message.

Even though I don't have a big platform and a big reach, this book has more reads, votes and overal support than I could ever hope and imagine, which I'm still so grateful for to this day, I thought I could at least try and spread the message about this amazing book that she wrote.

So I'll say it again, if you liked 'Road to Acceptance', I think you'll like 'Flip the Script' as well.

You can buy her book almost everywhere so I'm sure most of you don't have much trouble finding it online.
