Gate-Away
I looked at her as she entered the car and sped off, I am supposed to get her anything she wants how did she get the car? Maybe the Marshall earlier she seems familiar with him. My thoughts about Fayrooz was caught off by the giggle lady here, I honestly don't understand why is she giggling this much.
"So should we go?" She asked
"I just got a call I will have to go somewhere meet you later" I said and ran into the building and up to the male section. They divided the mansion into two the first staircase for the Male and the other side for the girls.

I walked into the party after getting a hard time with the media, they seem to give me more attention seeing I came out in public after three years and that the giggle lady is stuck to my side. I sat by the table where my name is placed at and Fayrooz's name is here too. There are three other names miss giggles name also included.
The lights got dimmed except the blue ones on the tables and then the bright one by the entrance staircase. It is almost like everyone is here except Fayrooz and the other empty seat. Just as I looked at the exit my heartbeat quickened. There is Fayrooz standing looking more beautiful than ever. She had small make-up compared to most of the ladies here. She wore a long white gown with silver belt around her waist and her head tied in a black veil leaving the tail part of her hair out and then Black heels with straps looking like an X.
"Why are you looking at her like that?" Ameera's voice brought me back to reality, I turned and looked at her before turning to Fayrooz again. This time the Marshall earlier is next to her in a full Arabian outfit, the white gown.
I turned back realising they are approaching us only to find Ameera just staring at me, I pushed back a little getting uncomfortable, I looked at the other guy at our table who noticed me become uncomfortable and let out a small chuckle.
"Ameera esh fiki?" She stopped looking at me and turned to him whispering something to him.
"La la not here" He replied, she pouted and nodded. I just my raised brows and turned to the stage where a group of orchestra are playing.
"Finally you are here" Said Ameera looking at the Marshall and Fayrooz. He nodded at her dragging a seat for Fayrooz. She looked up and our eyes met, before I looked away and all of a sudden I am all nervous.
"Salaamalaikum" Said the Marshall and turned to other guy at our table, shaking his outstretched hand smiling at him. He turned to me extending his hand, I don't know why but I had the urge to ignore.
"Major General Jadd, from Egypt?" He asked looking at my tag on the table. I shook his hand keeping a straight face.
"Yes"
"I am Ayman Ibrahim" He said
Fayrooz and I didn't talk we just glance at each other when the other is not looking and that is just it. Ayman and Malik were the only ones chatting. Ayman and Ameera arguing every now and then about every little thing and we are just quiet.
"Rooz? Won't you eat?" Questioned Ayman after dinner got served and she didn't make any attempt to eat.
"I will don't worry"
"Maybe she doesn't want to ruin her Make-up" Said Ameera
"A wise person will know she isn't wearing any" He replied
"Whatever why are we on the same table?"
"As if I noticed you"
"Will you two drop it for once?" Asked Malik but they just ignored him and continued fighting like little kids.
"Why are you not eating?" She decided to talk to me for the first time this night
"You also are not eating"
"I have a reason"
"Same"
"What is wrong Alpha? Your crankiness is becoming too much" She said in her calm voice, we have been nothing but fighting since we came here and it is really not what I want with her.
"Just a little down don't worry" She looked at me before nodding. And didn't talk anything more maybe she decided it will be useless to talk to me.
"Ayman stop touching me!" She said groaning after some minutes, he looked at her and grinned. His smile and silliness somewhat looks like Ammar's and even his hair.
"Not until you smile"
"We all know she doesn't smile" Said Malik chuckling
"Of course she does" Replied Ayman defensively
"Only with the ones she trust and definitely Ayman is one of them" Said Ameera, I see they are close then.
"True!" Smiled Ayman holding Fayrooz's hand, I pushed my seat and got up.
"Where are you going? Do you want me to come with you?" Asked Ameera immediately
"I am going to the men's room" I replied trying not to sound rude. Without waiting for anymore comments I walked out and headed to the left staircase, there is one in the middle and the then one on the right, this place is very huge.
I didn't know where I was going but continued which lead me to a balcony with a very clear and beautiful view of the city. I decided to just stay there for a while.
I thought about all that has been happening this two days. It is really crazy and tiring especially the part of fighting with Fayrooz. I can't believe my jealousy got the best of me and it ended this way.
"Jadd?" I heard someone call me name I turned and saw Ayman standing
"Hey what are you doing out here?"
"Well I thought you got lost and Roozy send me to get you" He said coming to my side. I got a little relief knowing she was worried about me but then there is jealousy.
"Oh I just wanted some air"
"You didn't look like you were going to the toilet we all noticed except Ameera obviously" He said laughing, I nodded my head chuckling.
"So how is working Fayrooz?" I raised my brow
"I meant in the force? I know about it"
"She told you?"
"Oh no that lady never lets anything out, found out on my own"
"Well working with her is good, she is brave and very passionate"
"I could say that when we worked on the Romano's she was the bravest among us"
"You worked with her? What is your name? As in agent name?"
"Rivers"
"Black Wolf's right hand?"
"Yeah that is what they described me as but I am just as same as everyone she only shows up even to me when needed"
"She has always been secretive?"
"Yeah actually, you two seem to be close from what I noticed?" His question caught me off guard. I am not sure if our relationship with Fayrooz would be called being close but thinking about it maybe it is.
"Well maybe, I am just trying to be there for her"
"You know man, you seem to genuinely care about Fayrooz which is why I am telling you this she has been through so much and she definitely deserves love and she has been alone all the way"
"If you break her or hurt her not one but a thousand souls will be after you and you will never have peace" His voice became low and threatening as he looked into my eyes.
"You know I didn't really know what I feel for her but talking to you right now gave me the answer. I don't know what I will face for wanting to be with her but I promise you I don't give up" I replied in a calm low and hoarse voice, I didn't know I had in me.
"It is good to know" He smirked nodding
"The meeting is about to start hope we meet later? And by the way I am her niece" He gave me a smirk before leaving. He noticed my anger earlier and slowly everything made sense, Fayrooz doesn't let anyone close to her unless he is her family.
