Trapped (Katherine, Void Stiles, Kai)

No Way Out

Suddenly Kai was against the wall of the basement, one hand holding him in place, putting enough pressure on his chest that made him cringe in pain, since when had Stiles been this fast and strong?!

"Hi Kai" Stiles said, a broad slightly manic grin on his face.

Katherine was smirking behind him looking delighted.

Kai wasn't stupid, he could feel killing intent when it was aimed directly at him.

He didn't really know what had gotten Katherine and Stiles in the mood to go on a killing spree but if he had a guess it had something to do with the enhanced powerful feeling he could feel coming from both of them.

"Wait! Wait! You need me! Don't you! You can't get out without me and I know something you don't!"

The pressure that has been put on his chest softened and then he was let go off.

His ribs ached as he tried to sit up and get in a better position to stand up but Stiles didn't let up, standing over him so he had no room to move.

"Well?"

Kai struggled to find the right words in his head to explain what he had just seen, it was a little difficult when you knew you could die any second.

Stiles said menacingly, eyes glowing a bright silver, brighter than Kai had ever seen them "We do remember saying that we'd love to rip your head of Kai, though you have been fun to have around but...".

They trailed of leaving Kai to fill in the gaps which he did very easily, he did understand this type of thinking after all.

He had been just like this when he was surrounded by weaker people in the past, it seemed like karma was about to rip his head off.

No wait, he thought sarcastically that what Stiles was about to do if he didn't start talking!

In the face of real death, his usual humour had left him, feeling vulnerable.

"Wait! I- I was trying out a spell and it showed me that there's more to this place than you wouldn't believe! We're in a prison within the mist and it blocks our view of everything else! We're actually surrounded by other prisons! I assume other people who the witches decides deserve to be here are also in the other prisons!"

"Other prisons? So we aren't the only ones?" Katherine said looking surprised.

Stiles supposed it was logical but then a thought came to them that made them grin as they said "More food for both of us then?"

Katherine smiled darkly as she replied "We can take even more power and life force, now that sounds like fun"

"You need me to break through the witches spell, no matter how much stronger you both are, you're not witches, you can't use force!" Kai said, not really understanding what they were talking about but eager to save his own life.

"We suppose that's true" Stiles hummed, stepping backwards away from Kai.

However despite Stiles words and his actions Stiles tone just sounded wrong to Kai's ears, making him tense up.

And Stiles glanced slyly over to Katherine who's wicked smile widened as she realised what he was about to do.

Kai gritted his teeth, figuring out what was happening, it seemed whatever he said would be ignored.

He said, tensing up in even more "Just get it over with"

Kai straightened up as much as he could in his position, he glared at Stiles, not daring to blink or look away.

He wasn't a coward.

But he couldn't stop the way his hands trembled...

"You're smart, we do like that about you" Stiles chuckled.

Despite Kai looking upwards, he didn't even see it coming, Stiles moved too quickly for his brain to process.

One moment Stiles was there, the fox's back to him, the next moment Stiles was gone and there was a terrifying pain in his neck and he was staring, horrified at his own slumped over headless body, then...darkness.

Stiles dropped Kai's head that they had just ripped of, to the floor and they felt a strange unfamiliar warmth spread throughout their body but they also felt a familiar thirst at the back of their throat.

"Mmm, that feels good" They sighed, rolling their shoulders as Kai's power and life force spread through them. 

While Kai was very powerful, compared to the originals power that they both had recently gained, he definitely wasn't close to them.

So Stiles could easily control the new instincts that they felt surge inside them. 

However what was most interesting was Kai's magic, it heated his veins. Stiles could actually feel the magic actually becoming a lot stronger due to Stiles power they had absorbed.

The magic would only get stronger as Stiles absorbed more power and life force.

For a couple of minutes a invisible strong wind picked up around them, rattling the door.

The wind died down and Stiles grinned broadly, excited about the new power pumping through their veins. 

"Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves" Stiles chuckled, apologising for not sharing the kill and taking all of Kai's power and life force themselves. 

Katherine however just raised her eyebrows and said with a smirk "Well, if what Kai said is true then I don't care about that"

They both grinned at each other, excitement building.    

If there were other prisons, other people locked away with interesting powers, how powerful would they be...

If they took it all?

Katherine managed to get a hold of herself as she remembered there was still one person they needed to take care of "First we need to deal with the shape shifter who was stronger than originals"

Stiles leaned up against the basement wall, looking calm as they said confidently "Don't worry, we have a plan"

And Katherine loved the sound of that!
