The time flew by in the hospital. Although my healing was slower than the other three because of the delay I was happy to see them ok again. During this time I had a lot of conversations with my mother about what happened that day.
It's been two weeks now and I am pretty much healed again. Even though I've tried I haven't been able to tap into that side of myself and my power again since being in that castle.
Sliding my hand over the sheets, I made sure to make the bed before I grabbed the stuffed animal off the bed. It was a wolf that looked just like Bentley, one he gave me to remind me of him while he and the other had to leave for a little while to take care are business in their packs.
I can't help but laugh though at the piece of hair he bleached to make sure it looked just like him. I don't look back as I walk outside of the hospital to my parents who are waiting in the car to take me home.
They talk to me the who ride home but I can't focus on what they are saying to me, my mind is focused on the three who aren't here with me. I don't let the sadness try and wash over me as a thought crossed my head. They had promised me a surprise when they got home and nothing else made me happier.
The car ride home was peaceful and calm. As we rolled up to my cabin, I hopped out and hugged my parents goodbye as they had many things to do and many people to thank for their help.
I turned around and walked into my house. It was a bit dusty after a month or so of no one being inside of it. I left the lights off as I simply walked to my bedroom and lay down. Flopping on the bed I lay on my bed and look at the ceiling. At some point, I guess my body is exhausted and I fall asleep.
When I open my eyes, the sun has set already. I sit up and stretch my limbs out and take in a deep breath. I pop my eyes open as I smell food cooking downstairs. A smile tugs at my lips as I sneak out of the bedroom and down the stairs.
Sneaking into the kitchen as three men are standing there chatting and cooking together. I take in the way they look and feel pride rise at my three mates. They all stand in the kitchen with no shirts on, their backs exposed and their muscles moving with whatever action they are doing. The jeans hung low on their hips and only an apron over themselves, ones that are meant for me so they are way too small.
When I notice what aprons they have pulled out a giggle falls from my lips. They turn around quickly and drink me in. Each man had a smile on their face at the look of me standing in the kitchen with them. Although Ryder is cockier at the sight of me standing there in his purple t-shirt.
"Nice aprons guys..." Another giggle fell from my lips. A chuckle falls from Bentley but he turns back around to what he is doing.
I'm eager to know what they are cooking up but before I can look Ryder hit bumps me out of the way. A soft smile on his lips as he looks at the scowl on my face.
"Sorry babe, no can do." He rubs his hands on his apron before walking over to me and grabbing my neck.
Pulling me to him as he leans down, he takes my mouth passionately and deeply. The air around us is heavy as he backs away and a lazy smile is on his mouth, oh the emotions he is going through. I look up at the piece of white hair above his left eye and get on my tippy toes to kiss it.
Even though he has dyed his hair again, this time dark green, he has forbidden himself from dying it. The thought makes my heart swell.
Before I can realize what he is doing, he is taking my hand and pulling me back to the stairs. A confused grunt leaves my mouth as I look back to the others and see their hungry gazes staring back at me.
"Go ahead and enjoy yourself." Ryder doesn't waste any time after Elliot said this before he kept dragging me away from the amazing smell of what they are cooking.
