———————————Tears streamed down my face, unable to stop.
Nick.. isn't doing well.
We were situated in the pool house, awaiting the next time we could go outside. IF we could even do that. I know that, I, for sure, NEVER want to go back out there. Besides, helping Nick was my priority right now.
"Y/N..?" A few groans came from the dark-haired boy lying next to me.
"Yeah, Nick?" I placed my hand on his head, feeling
I hated seeing him like this, shaky and scared.
And I hate that it was my fault.
————I shouldn't have let that stupid truth or dare game get to my head. I shouldn't have let Nick practically making out with Emma get to me.
But it still did.
So, yeah, maybe walking off into the woods in the middle of night alone was not a smart decision. But can you blame me? I wanted to be alone.
And I didn't even get that because as soon as I sat down on the patchy earth, a smooth Australian voice came out of no where, yelling for me.
"Nick!" I pushed through the tears filling in my eyes to respond back to him.
"Y/N!" His voice became clearer by the second as he bounded my way, instantly placing his hand at the back of his neck, "hey."
"Hey," I couldn't bear to look him in the eyes.
"Are you alright?" He moved a bit closer and looked down at me.
"Yeah! Just—" I pull my legs into my chest, "that was just a lot, haha."
Nick sat down beside me, "right." He sighed, "I- I hope you know that she was just doing that to make him jealous."
"What?" I turned my head to look at him now, taking in his features. He was so handsome in this lighting.
"Emma," I could see the worry in his eyes, "there's no way she would've ever picked me unless it was to make Jacob feel jealous."
"Oh! Right. Right," I nodded my head in response, not letting go of my legs, and then looked down.
It was silence for a few minutes until, "can I tell you something?"
My head popped up, "oh?"
"Yeah," Nick's hands came together and fidgeted for a bit before he finally looked me in the eyes, "I— I kinda wish it had been you."
I cocked my head at his uneasy answer, "me? What— what do you mean?"
"The kiss," a small smile started to pull at the corners of his mouth, "I wish it had been you."
My heart dropped at this. I couldn't believe it. THE Nick Furcillo admitted to wanting to kiss me? What?
"What?" I blinked my eyes quickly, "you— you wanted to kiss me?"
