I sat up in my bed, rubbing my head, I looked at my clock. 3:23, with a heavy sigh I laid back down accidentally squishing Turtle. Wait wasn't he human? Or was that just a really realistic dream? Never mind that, Turtle squirmed out and shape-shifted into a human. I looked at Turtle, no wait his name was Alatus right? I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming again.
"Hello? Aether?" Alatus asked
"Uhm yeah, sorry"
I looked away and my gaze caught a bracelet on my self. Old memories with a faded face flashed in my mind.
"Aether, are you feeling well?"
"Oh I'm fine just remembering old times"
"Mind if you tell me, if it won't bother you"
"Oh of course not I'll tell you"
