AETHER POV:
I have no idea why but, every-time I glance at Alatus, I get a pained, but warm, foggy memory, and every-time I try to remember, it flies out of my reach and into the distance.
I was walking back from a convenience store not too far away from my apartment when these, creatures, appeared from no where. Their leader was dressed in a strange fiery red coat, and their scouts were wearing masks with hair on the sides and even stranger marks. Some bore clubs and shields, while others held crossbows. They all stepped aside to reveal two, tall, hairy creatures, one with a ax and other with a giant shield.
"You will suffer for your lover and take the karma he bears" said the leader.

ALATUS POV:
I sensed something, my whiskers twitched with intense pain wanting to lead me somewhere. I quickly ran off trying to find Aether.
I got there as fast as my little paws could carry me.
It took a while but my whiskers took me to the right place.
I found Aether, in an alley way, fighting for his life, bleeding all over. He's on the verge of fainting, barely keeping up with the enemy's attacks.
A fire was ignited in me, I jumped down as fast as I could and summoned a polearm. I make quick use of it stabbing my way through to get to Aether, the creatures had no chance against me. I finished off the last of them but spared the leader.
"Why did you do it?"
The red creature laughed, it was unsettling, it sounded like it was many voices overlapping one another.
"Why? He must bear the karma you left him."

Man I gotta write more, I'll be posting the next chapter very soon as a sorry for not updating in a while.
Pls comment, I would love to see all you guy's thoughts. Although I may have some weird replies.
