My heart was beating so fast. I ran to her placed pressure while her guards surrounded us I saw Jo rushing into the car following the car that just speed off. I picked her up and ran to my car. While the guards drove us out to the nearest hospital. After some time while the doctors worked on her Jo called.
Me: Yeah
Jo: His hired by Mdu. His dead am now on my way to a BnB were the bastard is.
Me: Let me know once you have him.
Jo: I will.
After some time literally the whole family was in hospital. I could feel my blood boiling and I was doing my best not to explode but the more I sat here the more I could feel myself getting worked.
Mom: You shaking son
Me: Excuse me. I walked out to the mans room and locked the door and stood by the basin. I saw my face getting pale and my veins popping out from my skull and I know it was the monster in me. I looked in the mirror and the red eyes that looked back at me wasn't mine.
Me: Calm down
I could hear myself breathing to hard.
Me: not now please... I can't turn right now. She need us, she needs us to be strong and to protect her. Please not now.
I felt the growl growing in my chest and I closed my eyes and thought of all the times i was with her. Her smile and her touch and her loving face and i felt myself become calmer. I felt my back going straight And my face going back to its normal self. I drank water and left the bathroom to the waiting room to find Jo and I looked at him and he shakes his head no. The doctor walked out and i went to him
Doctor: she stable, its a flesh wound no major organs were hit. Bullet went out and she good. We moved her to a room. The police..
Me: i know the drill, can I see her?
Doctor: only her spouse is allowed.
Me: lead the way
We walked to the ward my two guards were by the door. I walked in and I lost it. I got in bed with her and snuggled her. The next 3 days was our. I made sure she bathe and I feed her and took care of her. The only time the nurses took care of her when they checked her vitals. Her family was supportive. Her mom came every day with lunch and we ate. Today she was much better and the doctors were saying she will be discharged tomorrow. In these four days she has never uttered a word and that frustrated me.

Ayana
I was alone with my mother and She looked at me.
Mom: you have to talk to us at some point.
Me: I have nothing to say.
Mom: don't you want to know who did this?
Me: Can we talk about something else.

I looked at her and saw she was pissed. The nerve of my mother.

Me: I know, i just don't know where to start and what to say.

Mom: newspapers all over are writing about you. You famous. Everyone know who you are and that you the next Queen. Your phone been buzzing with messages and we been getting flowers every now and then and the president himself has sent you a message of good will.
The grin on my mother face was priceless. Just then Mesuli walked in. He looked horrible. I raised my hands and I saw him smile as he walked closer got in bed and lay on my chest. My mom went out the room closing the door.
Me: Am sorry I shut you out
Melusi: we all process things differently.
Me: yeah but I shouldn't let you pay for Mdu mistakes
Melusi:  You okay?
Me: now that you here am better. He looked at me and kissed me and I kissed him back.
Me: Thank you for asking me to come home.
Melusi: A decision iv been regretting since the shooting.
Me: Don't blame yourself for this.
Melusi: Am the one that asked you to come here and looked what happened
Me: I repaired my relationship with my mother thanks to you.
Melusi: but still...
Me: I survived .
He snuggled closer and I closed my eyes replaying the horrific shooting in my mind.

Mdu
I knew they would know it me and after the news and hearing she has survived, I had to go into hiding until they stop thinking about me. But things have been hectic these past few weeks. Everyone that knew me have been missing or found shot dead and some beyond recognition. With each dead body a message was left for me and I knew it was for me. I went to the kitchen to find there was nothing for me to nibble on and i took the car keys and a hoodie and went out to the nearest garage. I brought myself a few things then drove to the hide out I was at. I got in and microwave the pie and turned to find the King himself standing by the living room.
Melusi: You know what the funniest thing about hunting?
I felt my blood dry cold and I moved to the table. I had a gun taped underneath it.
I saw Melusi raising it.
Melusi: dont bother looking for them, do you mind coming closer so we can talk about this idea you had of killing my wife, threatening her, having her live in fear four 4 weeks. I had to push my wedding due to her fears of you. Now tell me what kind of a man does that to a woman they claimed they loved.

Melusi
I looked at him and I saw the fear in his eyes. I felt my blood boil and I felt the monster in me growing. I felt it run through all my veins  and I knew there no turning back

Mdu
I watched in horror as he grew wings and I saw his  nails growing and in between his knuckles long bones like knives popped out. His teeth were like a pit dog teeth and his eyes were fire red and he was as pale as a white sheet. I know wolverines are just a myth and so are vampires but this was just a cross between a vampire and wolverine but scarier and I knew that my time on earth is over.
Me: What are you
He growled as he punched me in my chest and I felt a few bones cracked and just like that I felt his hand around my heart .

Melusi
The minute I ripped his heart out of his chest I knew he was dead but that doesn't stop me from ripping out all his other organs leaving his body as a shell. When done I got in his shower washed off all his blood from me. Washed my clothes then walked out of his place leaving it without as so much as a fingerprint from me or anyone else. I got in my car drove to an empty road got out of the wet clothes and wore new ones. Drove to my office where I left Jo with my phones.
Jo: Do you need a clean up?
Me: No.
Jo: the car?
Me: take it to the car wash for a deep clean but a carwash ekasi where there are no cameras and buy shisanyama
Jo: sure
He left and I left through the back exist of my office and got to my penthouse where am sharing with Ayana.
I walked in to find her surrounded by cakes and a chubby white lady talking.
Ayana: Oh just in time baby.
Me: What happening?
Ayana: cake tasting. This is one of those things that your mother said I can choose.
Ever since she been better she and my mom have been best of buddies in planning the wedding and her carnation which happens the same weekend.
Me: Oh
Ayana: Babe you did agree to us doing it today, right now and here.
Me:I did?
She gave me a look and I smiled.
I walked to were they sitting and sat down as the lady rambled about cakes. We have a 28 tier cake. That 4 cakes with 7 tiers at each corner of the hall. All kinds of flavours since my lovely wife couldn't decide which she wanted after tasting so many muffins. The lady left and she looked at me.

Ayana
Something was different about him but I couldn't put a finger on it.
Me: Your knuckles.
He looked at his bruised right hand.
Melusi: Am fine
Me: your hair damp.
Melusi: yeah. Come here. He changed the subject and I went in his arms as he kissed me.
Melusi: I pray you never leave me.
Me: Hey
I tried to look at him but he buried his face on my shoulder. What ever is eating at him today has got him bad because his not the Melusi I know. The forever smiling and laughing...

Guys its a hectic evening tonight. Hopefully ill write another, sorry for posting so late!!!
My daughter is showing us flames tonight lapho she only two years but sizwa ngaye!!!
