I walked into the room we were using and sat on the chair that they indicated for me. I greeted the anchor and the guy counted us down.
Anchor: Good afternoon to all our views, am Sindy Khanza and you watching me live from the Zulu palace. Today is a special day as the New Queen was crowned. I know you all wondering about her and she been in every newspaper outlet. Today am here with the Queen and and she will be joining me for the next hour. Ladies and gentlemen her is Ayana MaJele of Nkosiyonke Dlangamandla.
I smiled as the camera and lights came on.
Sindy: Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Sindy: so how is it ? Yesterday we watched the most perfect wedding in history and today the crowning. How do you feel.
Me: Sometimes its like a dream. Its like ill wake up in my tiny apartment in joburg go to the kitchen and find my two best friend fighting over which cereal to have today.
She smiled.
Sindy: I can only imagine, many people have been speculating your age. Want to take us out of our misery?
I laughed " should I? Well am 9 years younger then the current king, if you know his age you would mines"

I blushed as they played the little moment we had.

Me: No.
Sindy: the last months we read about your previous marriage to Mduduzi Shazi the Bergville mogul and It was not a good marriage.

Sindy: Now that you Queen, what role are you to play in your people? Especially woman who have been in similar situations as your self?
Me. When I was going through that phase in my life. I wanted a safe heaven. A place where I knew that I wouldn't be hurt. A place that I knew I wouldn't be judged for my choices. A place that I can call my safe heaven. My husband and I have been talking about getting a plot of land and build a home for woman and children who are in abusive environment for them to lie low at until they get up in they feet. A place were doctors will look after them, therapist, life coach and a support system that will give them strength to overcome the current situation they at.
I watched her wipe a away her tear.
Sindy: I wish I had that place when I was going through my drama.
Me: yet here we are. I Queen and You an anchor to the most watched tv show. When we had our faces smacked against walls did you ever imagined yourself as this powerful graceful woman that you are today? No but here we are!!!
I held her hand and smiled.
