The ride home was a scary one but I stomached it. We flew in his helicopter to Ladysmith were we found two cars waiting. this time he gave me 6 guards. 4 in the other car and my regular two. We went to Machison mall and brought food.
Tumi: The joys of having iblack card.
I laughed looking at this card that Iv been using none stop. We passed jet and I brought clothes for my mom and baby sister since she was expecting am sure her 18 year old self has nothing to wear. I brought my baby brother some clothes too and sent a text to Melusi making him aware about using his card for clothes and he called.
Me: Hi
Melusi: Its your card baby, no need to explain why you using it.
Me: I just don't know how much you have in here so I don't want to over spend.
Melusi: You can buy Four Mercedes with it and Ill still not complain.

Melusi: Am serious too. Now let me get to my meeting talk when you home.
Me: okay.
I hang up and put everything I got in the car and left to home. We drove to Driefontien and got home around 5 ish to the house buzzing with family. My uncles were out in the front drinking and my sister was washing windows. We parked in and my aunts and everyone was smiling and rejoicing for my return.
Tumi: You got this girl. She gave my hand a squeeze and we jumped out of the car. I had on my black wool dress that my stylist. Yes people I have a stylist. My ankle boots and my yellow coat..
Mom: Oh swana lamie( oh my child) she hugged me crying and that brought tears to my eyes. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see me. The guards took out the things I got for the family and we got in the lounge and I introduced my friend Tumi. They loved her, my mom was holding my hand not letting go. Its the first time in all my life iv felt her love for me. From the way she looked at me to the way she held my hand and spoke it was with love and care. She looked like God has dealt with her. She was losing weight and her face had worry all over her but her smile had hope.
Mom: Oh its so nice to have you home
Me: Its nice to be home.
She fixed my collar. I had it up to cover the love bite Mesuli gave me after Iv applied the foundation to cover up.
She touched it and laughed and I wished the floor could open up.
Mom: Oh.
She fixed it up again and I could see Tumi laughing.
Mom: So you two work together
Tumi: we share an apartment together. Joberg is expensive
Mom: aybo so people stay together
Tumi: Yes to cover cost
Mom: Oh makes sense.
The guards brought the clothes bag in and I thanked them.
Roger one of the guards. Stood by the door at the side.
Me: Oh its fine Roger
Roger: His highness...
Me: I know what he said but am okay. You can go settle in in the back rooms ill send something to eat.
Tumi: am here
He looked at her as if asking himself what will she do. He nodded and left.
Mom: You have body guards?
Me: Yes
Mom: why?
I looked at Tumi and she nodded.
Me: I think you should call everyone in. Mom did and they all were looking at me, i was nervous.
Me: So, as you can see I came with 6 guards.

Me: Well they my travelling body guards.
Mom: Why
Me: Am marrying into royalty.
There was silence in the house.

Everyone erupted at once and i let them all vent when they were silence I spoke.
Me: His not old. I took out my phone and showed the a picture of him smiling while I was on his back. They passed the phone around.
Me: His a kind man, reasonable and sweet.
Mom: you the new queen the news is talking about?
Me: i looked at her confused.
Tumi: yes.
Mom: This is what you want?
Me: Yes
Mom: well all we can do is support you. But know that you always have a home to come too in your times of need.
Those were the words I needed years back and I felt a weight of my shoulders and smiled at her.
Me: Thank you mama.

Everyone laughed.
Me: I got you some things. See if they fit.
We spent the next hour fitting clothes. My sister was happy and loved the things I got her. My baby brother was still shy but thanked me for his winter clothes. When my older brother called mom wanted me to speak to him but I said no. I wasn't ready to forgive him yet for his sins.
We had dinner and the guards were on stand by. I walked to my mom room while everyone was at rondval enjoying the fire.
Me: You good?
Mom: The smoke doesn't do me well
Me: Have you been to the doctor?
Mom: yes. Am taking my treatment.
Me: You eating?
Mom: Times have been tough. I eat sometimes. Sometimes its not enough for all of us. And the food you brought will last us for months. So at least I can focus on my health.
Me: I don't earn much mom but ill do my best to send money monthly to help out.
Mom: That will be appreciated.
Me: Take care. Am going to sleep.
Mom: Thank you for today. You have made my day.
I smiled and walked to my room found Tumi there.
Tumi: That wasn't bad
Me: nope its not.
Tumi: You good?
Me: I think so,i never thought i could make a difference in they life. When dad was alive mom was different and now. Now I feel like she is totally someone else.
Tumi: sometimes woman give to much to they husbands that they forget about they kids.
Me: I pray am never like that.
Tumi: You want kids?
Me: After what iv been, am not sure if its even possible.
Tumi: Want to tell me about it?
Me:not tonight but soon.
Tumi: Okay. Now let sleep tomorrow is a big day
Me: am so nervous am meeting the Queen mother
Tumi: Can't believe my best friend is a Queen. We giggled as we slept.

I finished up with my meetings and packed.
Jo: Where too next?
Me: My wife
Jo: You never told her you coming
Me: That why am getting married and you not.
We both laughed as I boarded the helicopter. My dad been updating me throughout. The family took the 15 cows we offered and the gifts we brought for them. They never wanted the 50 thousand we wanted to leave but my dad insisted and they took it. We offered to do the the traditional wedding at home with the crowning ceremony and her mother offered to help where she can which is nice of her. Now they were having lunch and my mom has sent me two beautiful pictures of her and Ayana looking amazing. I posted it " the negotiations went well, welcoming Mrs Dlangamandla, the  two most important woman in my life" i switched off my phone and drove to her place.

We were chilling outside laughing and eating. My mother in law was a kind sweet woman.
Queen Mother: I wont lie the first time i heard of you i lost it. I was like kwasuka lokho
Everyone laughed.
Me: That expected
Queen Mother: My husband sat me down and asked me one thing after I cried my eyeballs out. Do you see any changes in your child now that he has meet her? That when I knew that you know what she the one. You may not have seen it but we do and thank you.
She hugged me and my baby brother came to us

He shrugged
Queen Mother: yaba bona labantu who come when umsebenzi usuphelile. We laughed and  dishes out for them. I gave Tumi to send it out and she left and came back smiling.
Tumi: Makoti bacela ijuice( they asking for juice)
I took it out placed it on the try and gave it to her.
Tumi: Tjoh chommie zihambisele.
Me: Malume will start talking again.
Tumi: Am tired.
I took the tray and walked around the house and there he was laughing with my uncles and eating. I felt my heart do an unusual flip flop when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I dropped everything and heard screams as I touched where it pains and I saw blood and Went down hearing people calling my name as I closed my eyes.
Is this the end? Being shot at on my big day? Is this how am I suppose to die? Is God really this cruel giving me a taste of happiness before my last days. It went blank....
