Author's Note

"Close your eyes."

Jungkook felt sick as he gripped the sink in the adjoining bathroom to his hospital room. He closed his eyes as he told himself to, trying to swallow the bile that threatened to rise in his throat.  He never used to have a problem with looking in the mirror before, but now it was greeting him with a reality that he wasn't yet ready to meet.

"Okay. You can't be a wimp forever. Cut it out. You're fine."

Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Jungkook lifted his head to look at his reflection in the mirror once more. What he saw staring back at him remained unchanged; the doe wide eyes staring back at him with all the fright that one could muster.

"You're dreaming," he said; watching the lips of the reflection move too.

Jungkook looked down at his arm momentarily, pinching it. The sharp stinging pain greeted him, and made him more keenly aware of how much this wasn't a dream. This was reality. He looked back at his reflection again, trying to let it all soak in.

The reflection he was used to seeing was no longer there. Now as Jungkook stared in the mirror all he saw was the face of Kim Taehyung.

(I get this gif isn't Tae looking into a mirror, but it's blue hair Tae. I couldn't help myself. 😂)

At this point, I don't even know what I'm doing to myself. 😂🙈

I already have so many ideas going, but here I am again posting another new story starter. I must be out of my ever loving mind. I just couldn't help but to post it though to see what reactions I would get.

I apologize in advance for the teaser and description being in need of TLC. The idea literally came to me a half hour ago, and I have been working like mad to get it up before my brain shuts down again for the night.

Hopefully you'll like this idea. It's based on a K-Drama I saw called Big. I'm taking slight elements from that to infuse in this body swap idea.

CHALLENGE TIME!

Because I'm just one or two nuts short of a fruitcake, I am posting a challenge. If this story meets the challenge, I will work on the first chapter so that it can be posted sometime by the end of this week.

Before I post the first chapter, I'd love it if this author's note could get 18 votes. Lets see what happens, shall we?
