11.Grief

*Yawn*

I force myself off the bed and rub my eyes until I can see properly

I sigh loudly "another day another tiring work" i say rolling off the bed I walk up to the window and stare the gloomy clouds blocking the sun "what a great day to be alive" I roll my eyes

Then I heard the door shoot open while jungkook stepped in with a cake and candle

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!" He shouted
"What? it's my birthday?" I said confused

"Ofcourse didn't you say August 29 is your birthday?" He smiled putting the cake beside my bed "oh yea that and yours is 2 days later right?" I said as he nodded

I sat on my bed as I realized something and I massage my temples as I groan in pain

He sat beside me and pat my back "are you okay?" he asked with puppy eyes

"Yeah I'm fine its just a headache it will go away soon enough" I cupped his cheeks "thank you" I said blowing the candle on the cake

"I got you a present" he said leaning in and kissing me on the lips, I held him by the neck deepening our kiss he pulled me by the hip and I sat on him he looked at me its almost as if we're lost in each other eyes

"I like your present" I blurted out he giggled
"That wasn't the present" he said leading me to the kitchen

"Tada" he said pointing at the cupcakes "I baked them myself" he added

They don't look that bad so why not I said mentally and grabed a cupcake then took a bite

"Why is it spicy?" I said calmly as put the cupcake where it was

But moments later the spice started kicking in I drank water but that seem to make it worse As my eyes started to get watery

I looked for bread and started munching on it with no mercy "Jesus jungkook this is spicier than my moms kimichi!" I said fanning my mouth

"I think I put in too much hot sauce" he said fidgeting his fingers "YOU THINK?" I shouted but moments later the pain started fading away

I give jungkook a death glare "you better eat that cupcake jungkook" I gave him an evil grin

He smiled "too bad I'm from hell nothing can be as hot as that" he said eating a cupcake with no reaction

I cursed myself but i was interrupted with my phone ringing, it's was namjoon why the heck is he calling 6 in the morning

*on call*

"Hey"

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Yea don't worry about me" I replied

"You don't have to work today have a day off and rest.....don't stress yourself..please" he said In worried tone

"I will...you too, you sound kinda off rest a bit" I told him with a smile

"And let's not blame eachother for this okay it's not our fault okay? Promise me you won't do that"

I sigh loudly as I try not to cry "I won't if you dont" I joked trying to lift up the mood and I heard him giggle

"Deal, oh and y/n happy birthday"

I pause a little "thanks namjoon"

I hunged up to see jungkook walking up to me he tucked back a strand of hair
"Wanna go to the park?" he asked out of the blue "sure" I replied plainly as I went to dress up for the weather
