Jack Gilinsky's POV:
"Jack.."
"Jack!"
"Gilinsky!"
"Jack wake up!"
I open my eyes quickly and sit up.
"Ugh, finally, can you hand me my water?" Connor says quietly.
"What time is it?" I ask.
"How should I know? I've been in this bed for three days!" He complains.
I get up from the hospital room couch and walk over to grab Connor's cup of water, I hand it to him.
"Thank you." He sips it and clears his throat.
"How are you feeling?" I ask, while checking the time on my phone.
"Still in pain." Connor moves in his bed.
"How's your memory from that night?"
"It's all a blur, I hate that I can't remember anything. I can't even remember going to school that day." He rubs the back of his head and winces at the pain from where he hit it.
"I wish we knew how it happened.." I say looking down at my hands.
Just then Jack enters the room,
"Hi." He says, quietly.
"I'm awake, you don't have to whisper." Connor says, rolling his eyes.
"Oh, that's great!" Jack laughs.
Jack walks over and sits next to me on the couch.
"How'd you sleep?" He kisses me.
"I don't know, I don't remember falling asleep." I laugh.
"How are you doing?" Jack asks Connor.
"My head still hurts, but other than that I feel fine." Connor takes another sip of his water.
"That's good." Jack says, he looks towards me.
"Maybe we should go get some food and come back up here to eat?" Jack suggests.
"Sure, I could eat." I say.
"Me too, but don't get the food from the cafeteria, it's terrible here." Connor scoffs.
"Pizza?" I say, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes! That sounds so good." Connor shouts.
"Ok, we'll be right back." I say, opening the door and walking out with Jack.
The two of us walk out of the hospital and immediately run to my car because,
"Ew, it's raining!" Johnson yells.
We jump inside my car and slam the doors shut.
"I hate rain." He crosses his arms over his chest and slouches down into the seat, pouting like a child.
"Seriously? Rain is so relaxing, I love it." I say, turning the key in the ignition.
"I don't like it."
"Obviously." I look over to him, laughing.
"I don't like it, bad things always happen when it rains."
"That's just in movies!" I say, making him laugh.
"What about funerals?!" He tries to defend his point.
"That's true, but that's not the best thing to say at a time like this." I say.
"Oh shit, sorry I didn't realize-"
