Jack Johnson's POV:
School has been getting easier for me lately. Not just grade wise, but people are a lot nicer now. I'm not entirely sure why but I don't mind. All I wanted was friends in high school and I finally made some.
I met a girl named Nicole, she's friends with Jack. I started talking to her because she sits with us at lunch, we actually have a lot in common.
She likes some of the same bands and artists as me. Bands such as The Neighbourhood, Echosmith, Imagine Dragons, and that's just a few.
It's music like that, that makes me happier. We have alike personalities too, also the same sense of humor.
I met another person, a boy, named Charlie. He's the nicest person at this school.
Nicole is about my height, she has black hair, and eyes that are a mix of colors. Charlie is taller than me, he has blonde hair, like me, and blue eyes.
We all started hanging out through Jack, so we're all friends. We all hang out after school most days. We normally just go to the mall or something.
"Hey dude!" Charlie says walking up beside me.
We're walking to school, it's an early October morning, chilly, and kind of bright outside.
Leaves of all colors cover the ground wherever you walk.
"Oh hi!" I say looking over to him.
"You ready for Halloween?" He asks pointing to a banner that hangs above the street we're walking along.
It reads, 'Halloween is October 31st! Are you ready?' It has ghosts and skeletons all over it.
"Eh sort of, I don't really have plans."
"Well you should come to my party."
"Really? You're throwing a party?" I ask.
"Yes! Everyone is gonna be there." He laughs. He's the more confident type.
"I'll think about it."
"Well don't think too hard, Jack is gonna be there." He smirks at me.
Charlie is one of the few people that know about me and Jack dating.
"Ok I might come." We laugh.
What costume would I wear to the party? Should I match with Jack? Is that too weird?
